  • Patent number: 11946878
Abstract: A device for unidirectional propagation of microwaves comprises a resonant microwave structure arranged to transmit microwaves between two ports and a magnetic source arranged to provide a generally static magnetic field and to have a resonant frequency distinct from that of the microwave structure, which is disposed adjacent the microwave structure so as to be located in presence of electromagnetic fields emanating from the transmitted microwaves such that the magnetic field interacts with the electromagnetic fields of the microwaves so as to form a set of hybridized resonant frequencies at which zero intrinsic damping exists, one of the set of hybridized resonant frequencies being a real eigenvalue providing the unidirectional propagation from one of the first and second ports to the other. A related method comprises arranging the magnetic source at a prescribed position where the real eigenvalue matches the frequency of an input signal applied at a selected port.

  • Publication number: 20060033847
Abstract: A mount for an image display apparatus allows a viewing angle, height, and aspect ratio of the image display apparatus to be adjusted. The mount includes a base, a support member disposed vertically with respect to the base, and an elevator which moves up and down within the support member. An upper bracket is engaged with the elevator, and a pivot bracket is engaged with a rear surface of the image display apparatus and rotates about a pivot shaft of the upper bracket. Rotation of the bracket causes an activation bar to move up and down, for forcing a holder into a fixed position or a released position the holder from. The holder prevents rotation of the display if the display is not already positioned at its upper position. The holder also prevents downward movement of the display if the display has been rotated.

  • Publication number: 20060032003
Abstract: A method for manufacturing a three-dimensional fabric and a three-dimensional fabric using the same is provided. The method includes the steps of: selecting at least more than one yarn among nylon6, nylon66 and a super high tenacity yarn to be used as a warp yarn and a filling yarn; weaving the selected warp and filling yarns to produce a basis fabric with ripstops; inserting the basis fabric into a dyer and dyeing the basis fabric by providing a predetermined concentration of a dye at a predetermined temperature for a predetermined period, so that a special pattern and a color are expressed on the basis fabric because of a difference in density, material characteristics and thermal transformation temperatures between the warp yarn and the filling yarn; and drying the dyed basis fabric for a predetermined period at room temperature to make the ripstops, the pattern and the color clear without deformation.

  • Publication number: 20050263650
Abstract: A pipe fixing device comprising a plurality of pipes, for conducting liquid or gas, arranged to cross each other, and a fixing member for fixing the plurality of pipes. The fixing member comprises a plurality of pipe fixing bores, and a plurality of fitting bores for the fitting of bands used to tighten the pipes. The present invention can secure not only easy insertion of the pipes arranged to cross each other, but also enhancement in a coupling force of the pipes through the use of the tightening bands, resulting in stable and reliable fixation of the pipes.

  • Publication number: 20050180148
Abstract: Disclosed is a refillable melody candle in which a seated plate having a sensor and a melody chip built therein is coupled to the bottom of a body of the candle in such a manner as to be removably coupled to a separate base having a power supply section and a driving controller built therein. The melody candle of the present invention has an economical effect in that it enables the re-use of the base in spite of replacement of a candle body. Further, the inventive melody candle may include a number of candle bodies, and the seated plates corresponding to the candle bodies includes melody chips having different melody sounds stored therein, respectively, such that a user can selectively hear various melodies. In addition, the use of the coupling cap for improving the coupling ability between the base and the body simplifies assembly process of the melody candle.
