  • Patent number: 8617257
Abstract: There is provided a simple-structured and inexpensive device for stacking a successive separator and sheet electrodes which can protect an end portion of a sheet electrode when folding the successive separator, and which enables smooth folding of the separator to improve the productivity. The device comprises a stacking stage 10 which adsorbs and holds a leading end of the tape-like separator S, and on which sheet electrodes P, N and the separator S are successively stacked, separator reciprocating means for reciprocating the tape-like separator S on the stacking stage 10 with the stacking stage 10 being as a center, and a folding guide member 20 which comes close/moves apart relative to the stacking stage 10, covers both side ends of the stacked sheet electrode P, N in the moving direction of the separator S, and guides folding of the separator S accompanied by a reciprocal movement of the separator S at both side ends of the sheet electrode.

  • Patent number: 7981395
Abstract: A negative electrode carbon material for a lithium ion secondary battery manufactured by calcinating a rice starch portion obtained by removing the pericarp and tests from unpolished rice and a method for manufacturing the same. The rice starch portion is preferably middle-grade white bran or high-grade white bran each obtained when unpolished rice is polished. The above negative electrode carbon material may have a relatively broad peak at a 2? of 40 to 50° and a sharp peak at a 2? of 42 to 44° in its powder X-ray (CuK?) diffraction. According to the present invention, a negative electrode carbon material for a lithium ion secondary battery which has the same quality as the prior art product can be manufactured at a low cost by making effective use of middle-grade white bran or high-grade white bran of rice.

Abstract: There is provided a simple-structured and inexpensive device for stacking a successive separator and sheet electrodes which can protect an end portion of a sheet 5 electrode when folding the successive separator, and which enables smooth folding of the separator to improve the productivity. The device comprises a stacking stage 10 which adsorbs and holds a leading end of the tape-like separator S, and on which sheet electrodes P, N and the separator S are successively stacked, separator reciprocating means for reciprocating the tape-like separator S on the stacking stage 10 with the 10 stacking stage 10 being as a center, and a folding guide member 20 which comes close/moves apart relative to the stacking stage 10, covers both side ends of the stacked sheet electrode P, N in the moving direction of the separator S, and guides folding of the separator S accompanied by a reciprocal movement of the separator S at both side ends of the sheet electrode.

  • Patent number: 6397490
Abstract: A flash drying apparatus has a vertical, cylindrical enclosure. In a lower portion of this enclosure is disposed a rotating disk. Above this disk is provided a crusher that, using blades formed radially thereon, crushes a raw material into a powdery or granular material. The crusher is provided with a material feeder that feeds the raw material to the crusher by letting the raw material fall onto the crusher. A hot wind feeder feeds a hot wind to the powdery or granular material from under the blades. The powdery or granular material blown upward inside the enclosure by the hot wind is exhausted through an exhaust duct provided in an upper portion of the enclosure. This flash drying apparatus prevents degradation in performance resulting from deposition of a raw material.
