  • Patent number: 8728994
Abstract: An oil type lubricant for forging, which is featured in that the flash point thereof is confined to the range of 70-170° C., the kinematic viscosity thereof at 40° C. is confined to the range of 4-40 mm2/s and that it contains neither water nor an emulsifier. A forging method and a spray apparatus wherein the above-described oil type lubricant is used.

  • Patent number: 8394461
Abstract: A powder-containing oil-based lubricant for die contains 60 to 99% by mass of an oil-based lubricant consisting of oil, 0.3 to 30% by mass of a solubilizing agent, 0.3 to 15% by mass of an inorganic powder and 7.5% by mass or less of water, the lubricant being electrostatically applied to a die. The powder-containing oil-based lubricant may be applied to a die by electrostatic spraying. The electrostatic spray apparatus includes a device that imparts static electricity to the powder-containing oil-based lubricant and an electrostatic spray gun installed on a multi-axis robot.

  • Publication number: 20110250363
Abstract: The invention relates to an oil type lubricant, which is applied to a die to be used in high-pressure die casting, gravity die casting, low-pressure die casting and forging and can prevent soldering, particularly at high temperature parts and under a heavy load, to a spray method of applying the oil type lubricant and a spray apparatus for applying the oil type lubricant. The powder-containing oil type lubricant for die contains 60 to 99% by mass of an oil type lubricant consisting of oil, 0.3 to 30% by mass of a solubilizing agent, 0.3 to 15% by mass of an inorganic powder and 7.5% by mass or less of water, the lubricant being electrostatically applied to a die. The electrostatic spray method includes applying the powder-containing oil type lubricant to a die by electrostatic spraying. The electrostatic spray apparatus includes a static electricity imparting device that imparts static electricity to the powder-containing oil type lubricant and an electrostatic spray gun installed on a multi-axle robot.
