  • Patent number: 6483407
Abstract: In an electromagnetic relay wherein one of the flanges 2b of the spool 2 is located inside of the opening of the case and a stationary terminal 11 is attached to this spool 2, the problem of dust occurrence due to the attachment of the stationary terminal 11 is solved so as to implement the attachment of the stationary terminal (in particular, a portion to which a stationary contact point 10 is provided) in an excellent condition. In order to achieve this, protruding portions 11e and 11f extending from the stationary terminal 10 are compressively inserted into through holes 2e and 2f configured in the flange 2b and the vicinity of the stationary contact point of the stationary terminal 11 is engaged with the engagement portion 2f formed on the other flange 2a and, thereby, the stationary terminal 11 is attached to this structure.

  • Patent number: 4816794
Abstract: The electromagnetic relay has a pair of normally closed and normally open fixed terminals which are disposed opposing each other. At least two normally closed fixed contacts are mounted on the normally closed fixed terminal, and at least two normally open fixed contacts are mounted on the normally open fixed terminal. The normally closed and normally open fixed terminals are commonly used by a plurality of relay units. Therefore, the relay can be small enough to be installed on a small area, and allows high-density electric circuits to be provided on circuit boards.

  • Patent number: 4730176
Abstract: An electromagnet device is assembled to, e.g., an electromagnetic relay. This device comprises a movable assembly which is swingably supported and a core in which a coil is wound around a part thereof. The movable assembly has two magnetic plates arranged so as to face each other with a distance and one permanent magnet arranged between those magnetic plates. Each magnetic plate has operating portions at both end portions thereof in which magnetic poles appear due to the permanent magnet. The core has two end portions which are arranged so as to respectively face the operating portions of the magnetic plates. At least one of the operating portions which faces at least one of the end portions of the core is formed at the edge surface of the magnetic plate.

  • Patent number: 4630016
Abstract: An improved electromagnetic relay in which movable contact pieces of contact mechanisms are fitted into grooves formed in arm portions of a movable base for a movable block, while small projections formed on the movable contact pieces are fitted into recesses further formed in the grooves so as to fix the movable base to the movable contact pieces without any positional displacement or deviation for the prevention of various characteristic variations resulting from such deviation so as to maintain stable working characteristics over a long period.
