Abstract: A disposable diaper (1A) of the present invention is provided with an absorbent body (5) which includes a topsheet (2), a backsheet (3) and an absorbent member (4) as being sectioned into a front section (A), a rear section (B) and a crotch section (C). Here, the absorbent member (4) includes a laminated absorbent member (41) which is formed by sandwiching high-absorbent polymer with nonwoven (411, 412) and which is arranged over a range from the front section (A) to the rear section (B). The absorbent member (4) and the topsheet (2) are not fixed at the rear section (B) and are fixed at the front section (A) and the crotch section (C). The absorbent body (5) includes elastic members (9) across the absorbent member (4) in a stretching state between the absorbent member (4) and the topsheet (2) at the rear section (B).

Abstract: An absorbent article (1) of the present invention includes a topsheet (2) which forms a skin-facing face, a backsheet (3) which forms a non-skin-facing face, and an absorbent member (4) which is arranged between both the sheets (2), (3). The absorbent member (4) is structured to include an absorbent core (40) which contains absorbent polymer without substantially containing hydrophilic fibers, an upper core wrap sheet (45) which covers a skin-facing face of the absorbent core (40), and a lower core wrap sheet (46) which covers a non-skin-facing face of the absorbent core (40). The upper core wrap sheet (45) includes a thick region having a larger thickness than the lower core wrap sheet (46).
