  • Publication number: 20250055490
Abstract: This application sets forth techniques for mitigating radio frequency (RF) interference from wired connections on cellular wireless reception quality, including pre-emptively determining when to perform RF interference mitigation based on various factors. An interference mitigation module in the wireless device determines whether to perform an interference mitigation procedure based on active and/or imminent use of a high-speed wired connection port for data transfer in parallel with a cellular wireless connection that uses a mid-frequency RF band or a high-frequency RF band. The wireless device determines a target cell in a low-frequency RF band and biases measurement reports sent to a cellular wireless network to handover and keep the cellular wireless connection to the target cell in the low-frequency RF band while a high-speed wired connection is active.

  • Publication number: 20250004604
Abstract: Robotic process automation (RPA) systems with user interface obstruction processing for improved execution of software robots. The obstruction processing can detect and avoid unexpected user interface obstructions during execution of software robots. For example, while executing each of a plurality of actions of a software robot, a determination can be made whether a portion of a graphical user interface that is used by the associated action is being obstructed, and if so, processing can be performed to remove the obstruction. After removing any obstruction, the associated action of the software robot can be executed. Advantageously, software robots are able to execute in a resilient manner, whereby software robots are able to operate in a more reliable manner even when unexpected obstructions occur with graphical user interfaces.

  • Publication number: 20240430749
Abstract: The described embodiments regard detecting a bandwidth part (BWP) mismatch between a wireless device and a cellular wireless network base station and performing mitigation to correct for the BWP mismatch. The wireless device can detect a BWP mismatch, based on content of a downlink control information (DCI) message indicating to switch BWP configurations, which is inconsistent with a scheduled downlink resource or granted uplink resource indicated in the DCI message occurring before completion of a BWP switching delay time period. The wireless device can monitor for DCI messages, after switching BWP configurations, in accordance with a previous BWP configuration for a monitoring time period to confirm use of the new BWP configuration or to detect a BWP mismatch. Responsive to detecting a BWP mismatch, the wireless device switches back to the previous BWP configuration without waiting to complete the BWP switching delay time period for switching BWP configurations.

  • Publication number: 20240411573
Abstract: In an example embodiment, machine learning is utilized to make recommendations for next actions by users of an online network. These next actions are called “next best actions.” The machine learning may be performed to train a multitask deep machine learning model to make recommendations based on a series of inputs, including, for example, contextual information that relies upon action sequences of the user and historical users, and user intent. The use of a multitask deep machine learning model allows for the model to generate action recommendations that are personalized, contextual, and coordinate across various different aspects of the online network, rather than being limited to only a single aspect. Likewise, the multi-task deep machine learning model can also be tailored to optimized different use-case specific objectives while at the same time being easy to scale and maintain.

  • Publication number: 20240412299
Abstract: In an example embodiment, a deep machine learning model ranks cohorts of users as well as cohorts of products in a single ranking. When utilized to determine which cohort members to display to a user, the system selects one user cohort and one product cohort as the “best” (e.g., the top ranked user cohort and the top ranked product cohort). This ranking may be based on a number of contextual and non-contextual features, including viewer features (characteristics of the user operating the user interface), viewee features (characteristics of or related to the litem that the user is viewing, such as the characteristics of another user whose profile the user is viewing), and viewer-viewee relationship features (indications about how the viewer and viewee are related, such as common schools, locations, places of employment, etc.).

  • Publication number: 20240378101
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems, methods, and computer-readable media for identifying anomalies of failure events on a cloud computing system and determining cross-component and cross-layer correlation between change events that occur on the cloud computing system and the failure events associated with the anomalies. In particular, this disclosure describes a system that receives telemetry related to change events and failure events across any number of computing layers of a distributed computing environment (e.g., a cloud computing system) and detects anomalies based on counts of failure events that are manifested over discrete periods of time. Based on these detected anomalies, the anomaly correlation system can determine cross-layer and cross-component correlations between selective change events and the detected anomalies of failure events.

  • Publication number: 20240349080
Abstract: Communication device may include a transmitter and a receiver respectively coupled to one or more antennas to communicate (e.g., transmit or receive signals) with a base station. The communication device may receive an operating characteristic of a cellular modem within the communication device operating in a first cellular configuration and determine if the operating characteristic are greater than a threshold. The operating characteristic may include power and/or temperature. The threshold may include a power budget and/or a temperature threshold. If the operating characteristic is greater than the threshold, then the communication device may determine a control effort value based on the operating characteristic and the threshold. The communication device may map the control effort value to a second cellular configuration, which may correspond to reduced operating characteristics in comparison to the first cellular configuration.

  • Patent number: 12060148
Abstract: A system and method for detecting ground resonance and providing a warning regarding the same includes supplying, from an inertial navigation system (INS), inertial data indicative of an inertial profile of a rotorcraft, and supplying, from a sensor system, sensor data that indicates when the rotorcraft is at least partially on a landing surface. The sensor data is processed, in a processing system, to determine when the rotorcraft is at least partially on the landing surface, and when the rotorcraft is determined to be at least partially on the landing surface, the inertial data is processed, in the processing system to determine when the inertial profile of the rotorcraft indicates ground resonance may occur. Upon determining that ground resonance may occur, one or more alert signals are generated in the processing system.

  • Publication number: 20240256227
Abstract: Systems and methods for evaluating whether software robots need to be updated due to changes in underlying application programs upon which the software robots operate. According to one embodiment, during creation of a software robot, a fingerprint for a screen of an application program being utilized by the software robot can be generated and stored. Then, later during execution of the software robot, a fingerprint for the screen of the application program can be again generated and compared with the stored fingerprint. If the fingerprints do not match, then the screen of the application program can be determined to have changed. When one or more of the screens of the application program have changed, the software robot may no longer execute correctly with the application program. In such case, the system and method can recommend that that the software robot be recreated.

  • Patent number: 11983519
Abstract: Examples of aborting installation of a firmware bundle are described. In an example, an abort installation command is received. The firmware bundle includes items, each item corresponding to one of a firmware for a hardware component and a system software component. A first set of items is identified from the items, where the first set of items includes one of an item installed successfully, an item for which installation is under progress, and a combination thereof. A second set of items is identified from the items, where the second set of items is pending installation. A first subset of items is identified from the second set, based on predefined dependency information, where operability of an item from the first set is dependent on an item from the first subset. The first subset of items is installed prior to aborting installation of the firmware bundle.
