The memory stores instructions executed by the processor to observe network packet exchanges between virtualized resources. Key performance indicators characterizing packet information and connection information are generated from the packet exchanges. The key performance indicators are routed to a network connected device.

Abstract: The present invention provides in-place, phased migration from one version of a database software application release version to another of a software release version. A method for phased migration of a database software application comprises developing a database software application in a plurality of phases of development, at least some of the plurality of phases of development requiring a change in a schema of a database used by the database software application; and for each of the phases of development that requires a change in a schema of the database, performing phase-wise migration of the database by sequentially modifying the schema of the database based on the changes in the schema of the database required by each phase.
