  • Publication number: 20230261395
Abstract: A cable connector includes a male connector and a female connector. The male connector has a plurality of contacts disposed perimetrically or circumferentially coaxially along major axes of at least one peripheral surface or perimeter of the male connector. The female connector has a plurality of contacts disposed complementarily coaXially along major axes of at least one interior peripheral surface or perimeter of the female connector. Insertion of the male connector into the female connector allows for greater connectivity between cables because more contacts are accommodated coaXially along the connector length than the transverse dimension, as currently seen in the art. Greater bandwidth is therefore accommodated over a greater number of channels.

  • Publication number: 20230166336
Abstract: The invention relates to a distance compensating element for positioning reground cutting inserts in a cutting tool and to a cutting tool comprising such a distance compensating element. The cutting tool is provided with a cutting insert (16) and a tool holder (12), and the cutting insert (16) is releasably secured to the tool holder (12) in a cutting insert receiving area (14) by means of a clamping element (17) wherein the cutting insert receiving area (14) has a support surface (23) which substantially corresponds to the base shape of the cutting insert (16) and comprises at least one wall section (24) that extends vertically relative to the support surface (23) and is designed to align the cutting insert (16) in the cutting insert receiving area (14), and a blade (18, 19) of the cutting insert (16) protrudes freely.

  • Publication number: 20230126460
Abstract: A system for predicting machine failure may include a controller for controlling a machine, a plurality of sensors, a plugin device, a first computing device, a second computing device, and/or a third computing device. The sensors and/or the plugin device may be communicatively coupled to the controller. The first computing device may be communicatively coupled to the plugin device. The plugin device may transmit data associated with the machine to the first computing device. The first computing device may execute at least one low fidelity model to determine an interesting event associated with the machine. The second computing device may be communicatively coupled to the first computing device. The first computing device may transmit data associated with the interesting event to the second computing device. The second computing device may execute at least one high fidelity model to determine a machine failure prediction.

  • Publication number: 20230058499
Abstract: The invention relates to a machining tool, to a machining head, and to a method for machining a rotating workpiece (19), with a tool main body (12), with at least one machining head (16, 17) provided on the tool main body (12), said machining head receiving, by way of a holder (21), a cutting edge (31) which is aligned with a working space (18) for the workpiece (19) to be machined, wherein a material feed (41) for a conditioning material (42) to be applied to the surface (20) of the workpiece (19) machined by the cutting edge (31) is arranged downstream of the cutting edge (31) as viewed in the direction of machining.

  • Publication number: 20220257174
Abstract: An electric simulation system for home technical textiles, medical and hygiene technical textiles. The system applies electrical stimulation in order to prevent pressure ulcers with a proactive approach. With the system, in contrast to existing electrical simulation applications, blood pressure is increased at body stable pressure points before the development of pressure ulcers. In the system, a selective mechanism is developed instead of applying a fixed electrical stimulation to the whole body. In the system where electrical stimulation is applied, muscles surrounding blood vessels are stimulated and an effect equivalent to natural movement mechanism of body is provided. Thus blood is put into order and suspension of oxygen and nutrition is prevented, accumulation of waste products in cells is provided and defence mechanism of cells is kept active against invasion of cells by micro-organisms, and thus pressure ulcers are proactively prevented.
