The connector selectively connects a first electrical conductor to a second electrical conductor. The connector may comprise a body portion and a securing portion. The body portion and the securing portion may at least in part define an engaging aperture. A tensioning component may also be present to constrict and/or un-constrict the engaging aperture. The second electrical conductor may be received into or out of the engaging aperture in a direction lateral to the connector.
