    Abstract: A trim molding system for a wall surface having an existing baseboard disposed adjacent a floor and abutting a doorway. The trim molding system comprises a capping baseboard that is attachable to the wall surface in covering relationship with the existing baseboard. The system further includes baseboard return that is attachable to the wall surface. The baseboard return is disposed between the existing vertical doorway molding and the capping baseboard by removing a portion of the existing baseboard adjacent the doorway to accommodate the baseboard return.
