Abstract: The invention is related to medical and biological applications and is intended to prevent and treat coronavirus infections by applying phthalhydrazide derivatives, including Tamerit, with immunomodulatory activity independently or in combination with antiviral drugs of different chemical structure. A method for the prevention of coronavirus infection is presented, characterized by the fact that to increase the clinical and laboratory efficacy achieved by antiviral agents of the azoloazine series (Triazavirin®, Maktavirin®), antimalarials and preparations of interferon, in combination with the above preparations a preparation of aminophthalhydrazide derivatives salt, in the form of dihydrate, monohydrate, anhydrate, in any crystalline form, including Tamerit, in a dose from 0.01 to 4000 mg/kg to a subject in need is used.

Abstract: The invention relates to the microbiology, virology and immunology. It is intended to form the body immunity to infections of various nature and increase the specific activity of immunobiological drugs. An increase in the body's immunity to infections of various nature and the specific activity of immunobiological medicinal products (IMP) is ensured by the administration of phthalhydrazide derivative (hereinafter referred to as Abidov's adjuvant) in a single dose of 150 ?g/individual as an adjuvant (IMP) to animals. The use of the invention makes it possible to increase the effectiveness of specific infection prevention regardless of the IMP nature, and, thereby, increasing efforts against actual controllable infectious diseases of various etiologies.

Abstract: The present invention can be used in medical practice specifically in chemical and pharmaceutical production of medicinal agents capable of modulating the immune system. This invention essentially relates to a new medicinal preparation 5-amino-2,3-dihydrophthalazine-1,4-dione sodium salt having immunomodulatory, antiinflammatory, and antioxidant properties. The preparation is obtained from 3-nitro-phthalanhydride by consecutive isolation of intermediate and end products. The intermediate products include 5-nitro-2,3-dihydrophthalazine-1,4-dione and 5-amino-2,3-dihydrophthala2ine-1,4-dione. The reaction between 5-amino-2,3-dihydrophthalazine-1,4-dione and sodium hydroxide yields the target product, 5-amino-2,3-dihydrophthalazine-1,4-dione sodium salt. The method allows to produce the medicinal preparation with high pharmaceutical activity. It is provided an example of application of this preparation.
