  • Publication number: 20210344252
Abstract: Technologies described herein are directed to a generator concurrently providing different voltages to multiple components, some of which are unable to receive the full supply voltage output by the generator, without the addition of an electronic power converter or a transformer to the apparatus or system.

  • Publication number: 20090177329
Abstract: A control system and method of use for controlling work output delivered to a floor surface by a work tool associated with a floor maintenance machine. The control system includes a hydraulic power source, a motor assembly coupled to the power source and the work tool, a pressure sensor in communication with the motor assembly, an actuator coupled to the work tool, and a controller in communication with the pressure sensor. A valve is configured to regulate the pressure provided by the power source and applied the actuator assembly. Based on a sensed pressure applied to the motor assembly, the controller causes the actuator assembly to adjust contact of the work tool with the floor surface. Work output delivered to the floor surface by the machine can be uniformly maintained during a cleaning period as the controller adjusts floor contact of the work tool via the hydraulic actuator.

  • Publication number: 20050267708
Abstract: A control system for estimating the approximate relative position of an electric linear actuator on a surface maintenance machine. The control system includes means for selectively coupling the electric motor of the linear actuator to the electric power source, means for measuring or estimating the current and voltage of the electric motor, means for estimating the motor speed based on the measured values of current and voltage, and storage means for storing values of estimated motor speed and integrating means for determining approximate linear actuator position, wherein the integrating means integrates the motor speed over time to determine the approximate position of the linear actuator position.
