    Abstract: This invention provides a packaging material for a photographic photosensitive material having a conductive light-shielding thermoplastic resin film layer which comprises a resin composition comprising 3 to 49 wt. % of a thermoplastic elastomer having a crystallinity of 40% or less measured by the X-ray diffraction method, 0.01 to 10 wt. % of lubricant, and 1 to 70 wt. % of carbon black which is acetylene carbon black or furnace carbon black, which is excellent in the dispersion of carbon black to improve light-shielding ability and rare generation of lumps and microgrits, heat sealing properties, small degradation of physical strength, film moldability, etc.

    Abstract: The packaging material for a photographic photosensitive material of the invention is formed of a thermoplastic resin composition containing 50 wt. % or more of a thermoplastic resin manufactured using a catalyst capable of producing 10,000 g or more of the thermoplastic resin per 1 g of solid catalyst component. The catalyst includes a single site catalyst, such as zirconium based metallocene, hafnium based metallocene, titanium based metallocene and vanadium based metallocene and aluminoxane. By using the thermoplastic resin composition, adverse effects on photographic properties can be removed, and rusting of manufacturing apparatus can be decreased.

    Abstract: It is provided a package easy-to-open for photosensitive material such as an easy-to-open packaged photosensitive material having at least a biaxially stretched plastic film layer and, as an innermost layer, a heat-sealing layer containing not less than 5 wt % of an ethylene copolymer resin and/or a thermoplastic elastomer. At least one layer of the layered film has light shielding performance, and at least one layer other than the biaxially stretched plastic film layer has a ratio of the tear strength in the direction normal to the flow direction to the tear strength in the flow direction of not less than 3. The package has physical strength such as impact resistance, complete hermetic sealing performance, complete light shielding performance, and amenability of discarding and recycling without affecting the quality of the photosensitive material.

The die-cut sheet is preferably in the form of a sheet of double-faced or double-wall corrugated board including 30 to 55 flutes/30 cm at a height of 2.3 to 5 mm and a takeup ratio of 1.30 to 1.65, with the liner and the medium having basis weights of 150 to 350 g/m2 and 120 to 200 g/m2, respectively. The box can be used as a paper container for photo-sensitive materials.

    Abstract: Injection molding is performed by using a thermoplastic resin composition including a thermoplastic resin of 30 wt. % or more, a lubricant and an antioxidant. The thermoplastic resin is polymerized with a single-sight catalyst and has molecular-weight distribution of 1.1-5.0. The thermoplastic resin polymerized by using the single-sight catalyst is used for an injection molded article so that the injection molded article is superior in physical strength and blocking proofness. By adding the lubricant and the antioxidant to the thermoplastic resin composition, lubricity and antioxidant thereof may be improved.

    Abstract: A completely light-shielding packaging material for a photosensitive material obtained on laminating two sorts of separately molded light shielding thermoplastic resin films of different properties on the photosensitive material side and on its outer side via an adhesive layer. The outer thermoplastic resin film is a polypropylene-based resin film at least containing a light-shielding material and a homopolypropylene resin or an .alpha.-olefin containing polypropylene-based resin and having a Young's modulus in the longitudinal direction of 150 to 600 kg/mm.sup.2 and a thickness of 15 to 80 .mu.m. The inner thermoplastic resin film is a polyolefin-based resin film at least containing a light-shielding material, an ethylene copolymer resin and a polyolefin resin, and having a Young's modulus in the longitudinal direction of not higher than 120 kg/mm.sup.2 and a thickness of 20 to 150 .mu.m. This material has physical strength, heat-sealing performance, and amenability to bag making.

Styrene-based resin composition having melt flow index of 1-50 g/10 minutes, and including ethylbenzene of 0.001-1 wt. %, rubber-like material of 0.1-15 wt. %, and light shielding material of 0.1-10 wt. %, may be used.

Colored pigment is kneaded with dispersing pigment for dissociating and dispersing the colored pigment for improving uniform dispersion of the colored pigment for providing a colored packaging material for the photosensitive material having improved light-shielding and physical properties. The colored pigment is further improved in uniform dispersion by coating the colored pigment and the dispersing pigment with a surface coating agent such as fatty acid metal salt. For producing the packaging material, a master batch method, may be used. The packaging material may be used to make a packaged photosensitive material, e.g., injection or inflation molded articles.

Also disclosed are a method for forming the injection molded article for photographic photosensitive materials and a package using the injection molded article for photographic photosensitive materials.

    Abstract: An easily openable package of photographic photosensitive materials which comprises one or a plurality of photographic photosensitive materials and a light-shielding bag having a heat-sealed portion formed on the periphery and packaging the photographic photosensitive materials. The heat-sealed portion comprises a strongly joined portion and a weakly joined portion, the part surrounded by the strongly joined portion being larger than the photographic photosensitive materials being placed therein with a space, and the light-shielding bag being turned over at least at the edge of the photographic photosensitive materials on the opening side. The package is very easily openable and can ensure sealability, heat sealing properties and physical strength sufficiently.
