Abstract: Provided are a method and apparatus for sharing content, using information regarding a group change in a content oriented network environment. In a case where a group to which a target user equipment belongs is changed from a first group to a second group, the target user equipment may transmit, to a first group member management device, the information regarding the group change. The first group member management device may update information about a group to which the target user equipment currently belongs, based on the information regarding the group change. In response to a receiving of a content request from a requesting user equipment, the first group member management device may transfer the content request to the target user equipment.

Abstract: A relay apparatus and a method of selecting a relay node based on learning in a wireless network are provided. A method of selecting a relay node is performed, for example, by the relay apparatus, and includes receiving packet information from a predecessor node and a successor node, and determining whether the relay apparatus is usable as a node optimized to relay a data packet, based on relay quality information (RQI) that is computed based on the received packet information. Techniques for computing RQI information are also provided.

Abstract: A method of estimating a round-trip time (RTT) is provided. The method may include providing content requested by an interest packet with an identifier to identify a second node that sends the content to the first node, determining a processing time (PT) in which an interest packet is processed in the second node, based on an arrival time in which the content is received by the first node, evaluating an instantaneous RTT for the content received by the first node, based on an arrival time in which the content with the identifier is received at the first node, a sending time in which the interest packet is sent to the second node, or the determined PT, and estimating an RTT for the interest packet based on the evaluated instantaneous RTT.

Abstract: A method of delivering content includes receiving an interest packet including a plurality of requests in a content-centric networking (CCN), determining an availability of content for a first request among the plurality of requests in a content store (CS), fetching available pieces of content from the CS for a set of sequential requests starting from the first request among the plurality of requests in response to the content for the first request being available in the CS, the fetching comprising fetching available content for each remaining request subsequent to the first request among the sequential requests based on information from content identified for a request immediately preceding each remaining request, and delivering the fetched available pieces of content.

Abstract: Provided are apparatuses and methods of generating and verifying signature information for data authentication. A method of verifying signature information may involves receiving signature information with respect to a predetermined number of data segments from a transmitter, constructing a hash tree based on the signature information, and verifying a validity of the signature information, by verifying trapdoor hash values using a root hash value of the constructed hash tree.
