    Abstract: A cooking appliance may include a casing in which a cavity and an electric chamber divided from the cavity are disposed, a door disposed at a front of the casing and configured to open and close the cavity, a tank housing disposed in the electric chamber, and having a tank chamber therein, and a water tank stored in the tank chamber, and configured to be inserted into and withdrawn from the casing through an entrance of the tank chamber in a forward-rearward direction of the cooking appliance. A lower surface of the tank housing may be spaced upward from a bottom surface of the electric chamber. With this structure, heat of the cavity disposed in a lower portion of the electric chamber may be prevented from being directly transmitted to the water tank.

A panel unit is disposed in front of the front housing at a first position to cover the entrance of the tank chamber, and opens the entrance of the tank chamber at a second position where the panel unit is moved from the first position.

A front surface of the tank housing is in close contact with a rear surface of the front housing, and the tank chamber is connected to the tank entrance. When the tank housing and the front housing are in close contact with each other, leakage of water or inflow of foreign substances through a gap between the two components can be prevented.
