  • Patent number: 10643586
Abstract: A system for fixing and tensioning strings of a stringed musical instrument comprises a string holder provided on one end of a neck, an upper nut provided on a second end of the neck and adjusting screw mechanisms in an amount that corresponds to the amount of strings, while each of the strings is configured so that its first end can be fixed in the string holder, the second end can be passed through grooves of the upper nut and fixed on the adjusting screw mechanism. An arrangement for directing the strings is mounted after the upper nut on a face surface of the neck, in a form of a curved plate, which has guides for the strings provided therein. The adjusting screw mechanisms are arranged at an acute angle relative to the longitudinal axis of the neck in a frame fixed on a back surface of the neck. A neck reinforcement member can be mounted in a central portion of the neck along the entire length.

  • Patent number: 10482859
Abstract: The inventions relate to the field of electric musical instruments, more particularly, to an optical sensor for a stringed musical instrument with a digital interface and to a stringed musical instrument with a digital interface equipped with said sensor (MIDI—Musical Instrument Digital Interface). Implementation of the disclosed inventions allows to obtain a signal corresponding to vibrations (deflections) of a string in two mutually perpendicular planes, with the influence of the device generating such signals on string vibration parameters being reduced, without signals generated by different strings being mixed and with dimensions of the optical sensor being reduced to allow for its compact placement on a stringed musical instrument.

  • Publication number: 20190236976
Abstract: A consumer desktop product for use in a kitchen that can converse with and instruct a cook in the preparation and planning of meals. It is packaged in a large egg-shaped shell with a rounded bottom and has a very low center of gravity in one end so it can up on that end. The center of gravity can be manipulated with internal motors and gears such that the egg-shaped shell can be made to tilt fore and back, lean left and right, and even rotate. These actions are choreographed to give the Product an expressive personality that can endear and entertain its users. A portion of the upper hemisphere is dedicated to a display screen that is used to exhibit an animation of an eyeball to further endear and entertain the users.
