  • Patent number: 9034098
Abstract: A hydraulic binder includes, in parts by mass: (a) from 20 to 60 parts of Portland clinker; (b) from 20 to 40 parts of slag; and (c) from 0 to 60 parts of inorganic material other than the clinker and the slag; the sum of (a), (b) and (c) being equal to 100 parts; which binder further includes a slag activator including, relative to 100 parts of the sum of (a) and (b): from 1.4 to 6.55 parts of alkali metal salt, expressed as equivalent-Na2O; and from 1.1 to 11.0 parts of calcium sulfate, expressed as SO3.

  • Publication number: 20150020714
Abstract: A hydraulic binder including in parts by mass: (a) 40 to 70 parts of a Portland clinker; (b) 30 to 60 parts of fly ash; (c) optionally up to 30 parts of an inorganic material other than clinker or than fly ash; (d) 2.5 to 15 parts of an alkali metal salt expressed in parts of equivalent-Na2O relative to 100 parts of fly ash; and (e) 2 to 14 parts of sulphate expressed in parts of SO3 relative to 100 parts of clinker; the fly ash having a Dv97 less than or equal to 40 ?m, and the sum of (a), (b) and (c) being equal to 100.

  • Patent number: 8603238
Abstract: A dry binder premix includes, in mass proportions: Portland clinker having a Blaine specific surface area comprised from 4500 to 9500 cm2/g, the minimum quantity of the clinker by mass percentage relative to the total mass of the premix being determined according to: [?6.10?3×BSSk]+75, in which BSSk is the Blaine specific surface area of the clinker given in cm2/g; fly ash; an alkali sulphate; one source of SO3; complementary materials having a Dv90 less than or equal to 200 ?m selected from limestone powders, calcined shale, metakaolins, siliceous fillers, silica powders, pozzolans, slags, fly ash and mixtures thereof. A quantity of clinker+the quantity of fly ash is greater than or equal to 75% by mass percentage relative to the total mass of the premix and a total quantity of clinker in the premix is less than 60% by mass percentage relative to the total mass of the premix.
