  • Patent number: 8920225
Abstract: A dishwasher having a water vapor vent structure is provided. The water vapor vent structure may include an outer cover having one or more water vapor vents, and an inner cover detachably mounted to the outer cover and having condensation channels for condensing water vapor. As water vapor is collected and maintained in the condensation channels for a period of time, condensation efficiency may be enhanced, and air quality in a room in which the dishwasher may be maintained at an acceptable level.

  • Patent number: 8789544
Abstract: Provided are a filter assembly for a dishwasher and a dishwasher having the same. In the filter assembly for the dishwasher and the dishwasher having the same, since a cylindrical filter unit is formed through a plate filter unit, the entire area of an inside of a filter frame can be implemented as a filtering area where foreign materials contained in water circulating toward dishes to be washed up are filtered off. Accordingly, the extended filtering area can increase an amount of water supplied onto the dishes, thus to enhance an efficiency of water circulation. Also, a possibility that a filter is blocked due to foreign materials covering all over the filtering area can remarkably be reduced. Since the cylindrical filter unit is formed through the plate filter unit, the entire size of the filter assembly can be decreased with maintaining the filtering area of the filter assembly.

  • Publication number: 20100071735
Abstract: The present invention relates to a dish washer. The dish washer includes a plurality of water feeding channels (21, 22, 23) for feeding water to dishes received in a washing tub, a supply (103) channel for supplying water to the water feeding channels (21, 22, 23) and a rotary member (104, 4) disposed in the supply channel (103) such that the rotary member (104, 4) is raised while rotating along the supply channel, (103), when water is supplied to the supply channel (103), to communicate with at least one of the water feeding channels (21, 22, 23) to supply the water to the at least one of the water feeding channels (21, 22, 23), and is lowered while rotating along the supply channel (103), when the supply of water is interrupted.

  • Publication number: 20090038653
Abstract: Disclosed is a dishwasher having a water vapor vent structure, the water vapor vent structure comprising: an outer cover having one or more water vapor vents, and an inner cover detachably mounted to the outer cover, and having condensation channels for condensing water vapor. As water vapor is made to stay at the condensation channels for a long time, condensation efficiency is enhanced. Accordingly, air inside a kitchen where the dishwasher is installed, etc. is prevented from becoming humid, and agreeable indoor conditions is maintained.
