  • Publication number: 20230116996
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to reductant injection system and method for a selective catalytic reduction reaction whereby urea is injected directly to an exhaust line where a denitrification reaction occurs without using an additional urea decomposition reactor and, thus, conversion from urea to ammonia can occur very fast.

  • Patent number: 11338272
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a catalyst for directly decomposing urea, a method for preparing the same and a system for decomposing urea including the same, whereby the efficiency of decomposing urea to ammonia may be improved while preventing the formation of a byproduct such as biuret at temperatures of 200° C. or below by controlling the oxygen composition of the catalyst including titania and ceria.

  • Publication number: 20060258528
Abstract: The present invention relates to a catalyst for removing aromatic halogenated compounds comprising dioxin, carbon monoxide and nitrogen oxide simultaneously and a method for preparing the catalyst, more particularly, a catalyst comprising 0.1 to 5% by weight of vanadium, 1 to 12% by weight of metals in 6A family and 0.1 to 10% by weight of Ag in titania carrier or, alternatively, a catalyst produced by impregnating said catalyst in 0.05 to 1M sulfuric acid solution to carry out acid treatment. The catalyst according to the present invention has improved efficiency for removing 1,2-dichlorobenzene as a reactant model of dioxin and carbon monoxide rather than existing catalysts and also, alternative efficiency for removing nitrogen oxide substantially equal to commonly known catalysts, so that the catalyst can effectively control various air pollutants contained in exhaust gas.

  • Publication number: 20050002843
Abstract: Disclosed is a method of effectively removing nitrogen oxides contained in an exhaust gas from a combustion process with a stationary source and/or a mobile source using gases or liquid oils as a fuel, such as gasoline, kerosene and bio-diesel oil. More particularly, provided are an apparatus and a method of removing nitrogen oxides, in which a reducing agent is sprayed into the exhaust gas passing through an alumina-promoted silver catalyst installed at the flow path of the exhaust gas.

  • Publication number: 20040265200
Abstract: Disclosed are an apparatus and a method for treating exhaust gas. The apparatus includes a pipe (2) for providing a flow path of the exhaust gas containing nitrogen dioxide from a stationary source combustion process using gases as a fuel. One or more nozzles (4) are installed in the pipe (2), which can spray air and a reducing or an oxidizing agent to the exhaust gas flowing in the pipe (2). Additionally, a storage tank (6) is installed to store the reducing or oxidizing agent therein. Furthermore, an injection pump (8) is connected to the storage tank (6) and nozzle (4) at a position between the storage tank (6) and nozzle (4) to feed the reducing or oxidizing agent from the storage tank (6) to the nozzle (4), and an air pump (10) is connected to the nozzle (4) to feed the air into the pipe (2).
