  • Patent number: 10726767
Abstract: A display apparatus includes a display panel, a gate driver and a data driver. The display panel displays an image and includes first sub-pixels which display a first color, second sub-pixels which display a second color different from the first color, first gate lines to which only the first sub-pixels are connected, second gate lines to which only the second sub-pixels are connected, and data lines. The gate sequentially applies first gate signals only to the first gate lines during a first duration of a first frame, and sequentially applies second gate signals only to the second gate lines during a second duration of the first frame, where the second duration is subsequent to the first duration. The data driver outputs data voltages to the data lines based on input image data in synchronization with a driving sequence of the first and second gate lines.

  • Patent number: 8928739
Abstract: A three dimensional image display device includes a display panel in which at least one of two consecutive left eye images and two consecutive right eye images are inputted, where the two consecutive left eye images are substantially the same as each other, and the two consecutive right eye images are substantially the same as each other, and where gate scanning directions of the two consecutive left eye images are opposite to each other, and gate scanning directions of the two consecutive right eye images are opposite to each other.

  • Publication number: 20140049526
Abstract: A driving circuit including a timing control part, a driving voltage generating part, a voltage modifying part, and a slope control part. The voltage modifying part is configured to modify the gate-on voltage to a swing-on signal based on the kickback control signal, the swing-on signal including a slicing part, the slicing part including a falling portion during which a level of the swing-on signal falls from the first high level to a second high level lower than the first high level, and a rising portion during which the level of the swing-on signal rises from the second high level to the first high level. The slope control part is configured to decrease a slew rate of the rising portion in the swing-on signal and to output the swing-on signal decreased the slew rate of the rising portion as a gate-on signal.

  • Patent number: 7880661
Abstract: An on-die thermal sensor includes an integrating analog-digital converter not requiring a negative reference voltage input. The on die thermal sensor includes a band gap unit, an integrating unit and a counting unit. The band gap unit senses a temperature to output a first voltage corresponding to the sensed temperature. The integrating unit integrates a difference between a reference voltage and a comparing voltage to output a second voltage wherein the comparing voltage has a voltage level higher than that of the reference voltage. The counting unit counts clocks of a clock signal input thereto until the second voltage reaches the first voltage, thereby outputting a thermal code corresponding to the voltage level of the first voltage.
