Abstract: A car access assembly includes a handle configured to be attached on a car door and an electronic sensing unit. The electronic sensing unit includes a sensor configured to be attached on an extension portion of the handle and/or to a bracket configured to cooperate with the handle. The extension portion and/or the bracket is configured to be installed on or facing an internal side of a part of the car door extending according to a reference plane. The assembly also includes a fixing mechanism for the sensor so that a constraint applied to the handle is transmitted to the sensor for detection of a command via the extension portion and/or the bracket.

Abstract: A detection system for a handle of a car access assembly that includes a sensing module and a flexible printed circuit board. The sensing module includes at least one strain gauge having a sensing area and connection points in contact with the sensing area so as to permit the measurement of a signal at the connection points. The flexible printed circuit board has a first end with at least one connection area adapted to be connected to the connection points of the at least one strain gauge and a second end with a connection arrangement configured to be connected to an electronic control unit.

Abstract: An electronic sensing unit for a handle attached on a car door includes a sensor and a fixing mechanism. The sensor is attached on an external side of a part of the car door extending according to a reference plane. The fixing mechanism includes a first element and a second element configured to cooperate together. The first element is configured to cooperate with the part of the car door and the sensor. The second element is configured to cooperate with the handle so that a constraint applied to the handle is transmitted to the sensor for detection of a command.

Abstract: A device includes an apparatus, including a fixed part attached to an activation part, and at least one detection device configured to activate at least one function of the apparatus upon detection of force applied to the activation part. Every detection device of the at least one detection device includes a blade and a sensor. The blade includes first and second bearing parts that bear against the activation part or the fixed part. The sensor is on the blade between the first and second bearing parts. The sensor measures deformation of the blade when the force is applied on the activation part and collects a deformation signal to be transmitted to a controller. At least one of the first bearing part and the second bearing part is secured to the activation part or to the fixed part by at least one overmolded securing portion.
