  • Patent number: 5566036
Abstract: An improved cable connecting apparatus between an audio control head and a main printed circuit board for a VCR capable of making it easy to connect between a loading motor and audio control head and a main printed circuit board, so that a more correct connection therebetween is obtained, according to an aspect of the present invention, which includes a main printed circuit board; a base plate; a printed circuit board attached to a loading motor mounted on the deck for driving a tape; an audio/control head mounted on the base plate for detecting/recording a predetermined signal; a signal transmitting member for connecting between the audio/control head and the printed circuit board; and a signal connecting member mounted in the printed circuit board for transmitting signals of the audio/control head and the loading motor to the main printed circuit board.

  • Patent number: 5444585
Abstract: A tape loading apparatus of a video cassette recorder includes members for drawing out tape from a video cassette, and first and second bases for mounting the members. In addition, a device which moves the first and second bases to a loading position where the first base engages a first stopper and the second base engages a second stopper is also provided. Accordingly, the first base engages the first stopper before the second base engages the second stopper resulting in a difference in time between when the first and second bases engage the first and second stoppers. The tape loading apparatus also includes a power source for driving the device. Finally, the electric current load generated by the power source is thereby reduced because the load exerted for moving the first and second bases occurs within the difference in time.

  • Patent number: 5330123
Abstract: A unitary guide body which includes structural elements for tape loading and unloading, particularly for use in a VCR deck, which is constructed to include as a part of the unitary guide body a pair of guide grooves for guiding a pair of slant bases acting to load a tape to a drum, a guide groove formed adjacent to one of the slant base guide grooves for guiding a tape guide roller, stoppers disposed adjacent to leading ends of the guide groove to position the slant bases and the guide roller, a drum receiving recess for slantly mounting a drum at an inclination angle of a given angle, a plurality of drum fastening holes, a shaft for an I-shaped roller, and a main slant post, which provide for an enhanced production rate of the elements forming parts of the unitary guide body while overall product quality is maintained.

  • Patent number: 5227932
Abstract: A tape conveying device of a VCR comprising a supply slant base, a first take-up slant base and a second take-up slant base which are adapted to travel along a supply guide groove, a first take-up guide groove and a second take-up guide groove, respectively. The supply guide groove and the second take-up guide groove are formed in the horizontal chassis surface. The first take-up guide groove has an unloading portion formed in the horizontal chassis surface and a curvedly extending loading portion formed in a downwardly inclined chassis surface extending from the horizontal chassis surface rearwardly of the drum. Respective end portions of the first and second take-up guide grooves corresponding to loading positions of the first and second take-up slant bases extend laterally so that the first and second take-up slant bases extend laterally at their loading positions, respectively. As a result, the space occupled by the take-up slant bases at the rear of drum can be minimized.
