  • Publication number: 20240289030
Abstract: In an embodiment of the disclosed technology, parity information for external data inputted to a storage device is generated, and, depending on whether a parity transmission function is activated, or the state of a buffer memory of an external device located outside the storage device, the parity information is stored and managed in the buffer memory of the external device or a nonvolatile memory of the storage device. Thus, it is possible to efficiently manage the parity information and improve performance of ensuring integrity of the external data.

  • Patent number: 11454515
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a gyro sensor calibration method based on vehicle velocity, which can extract a weighting factor in consideration of vehicle velocity, apply the extracted weighting factor to an extended Kalman filter, and accurately calibrate a gyro sensor in real time, in order to prevent accumulation of scale factor calibration errors, which may occurs as a turning radius is changed depending on vehicle velocity in a turning section, when a GNSS-based dead reckoning (DR) system calibrates a scale factor of the gyro sensor through the extended Kalman filter using GNSS information received in the turning section.

  • Publication number: 20140068638
Abstract: A method for selective application loading includes monitoring an element of an operating environment, determining whether the element of the operating environment corresponds to an execution condition, and executing an application corresponding to the execution condition. An application control system includes a condition controller to store an execution condition, to monitor an operating condition of a terminal, and to determine whether the operating condition meets the execution condition; and an event controller to execute a corresponding application if the operating condition meets the execution condition.

  • Patent number: 7539333
Abstract: Provided is a system and method for semi-automatically processing a human body image. A segmentation unit segments portions having correlations with one another in a human body image using at least one of image processing functions. A feedback unit performs at least one of the image processing functions on the segmented human body image to improve accuracy of the segmented human body image. A classification unit applies corresponding colors to tissues of the segmented human body image, incorporates the segmented human body image into one image, and creates an image in which classification is completed. A display unit shows images that are results of processing by the segmentation unit, the feedback unit, and the classification unit on independent screen windows.

  • Patent number: 7522547
Abstract: A method for transmitting a flooding ad hoc traffic indication message (FATIM) in a power save mode whose beacon interval is divided into an ad hoc traffic indication message (ATIM) window and data transmission window subsequent to the ATIM window, in a mobile ad hoc network (MANET) constituted by a plurality of nodes. When one of the plurality of nodes has data to be forwarded to different nodes, a FATIM frame indicating that a network broadcast message will be sent to its neighbor nodes is forwarded during the ATIM window. If a current ATIM window has not expired, at least one different node of the plurality of nodes receiving the FATIM frame forwards the received FATIM frame to its neighbor nodes.
