Abstract: A refrigerator including a main body provided with a freezing chamber, a freezing chamber door to open and close the freezing chamber, a subsidiary door to open and close an opening provided on the freezing chamber door, and an ice maker installed on the rear surface of the subsidiary door to manufacture ice. As the opening is opened by the subsidiary door, the ice maker is drawn out of the freezing chamber, thereby enabling a user to conveniently supply water to the inside of the ice maker or to conveniently use the ice manufactured by the ice maker.

Abstract: A variable shelf assembly includes a mounting member mounted in a storage compartment of a refrigerator, a shelf support member coupled to the mounting member such that the shelf support member is vertically movable, a shelf mounted on the shelf support member, and a lifting unit to lift the shelf support member. The mounting member and/or the shelf support member has a plurality of cool air circulation holes through which cool air circulating in the storage compartment passes. The lifting unit includes a driving gear, a driven gear rotatable by the driving gear, a screw shaft coupled to the driven gear, at least one moving member movable by the rotation of the screw shaft, and at least one rotary link having one end rotatably coupled to the moving member and the other end rotatably coupled to the mounting member.

The shelf fixing structure includes an engaging protrusion formed on a lower surface of the shelf at one side of the shelf, a stepped surface formed at the other side of the shelf, a restriction groove formed at a position corresponding to the engaging protrusion to restrict the engaging protrusion, and a restriction portion formed at a position corresponding to the stepped surface to restrict the stepped surface.

Abstract: Disclosed is a refrigerator including a storage chamber having a door at a front thereof; a first storage basket provided in a lower portion of the storage chamber and being opened and closed integrally with the door; and a second storage basket provided above the first storage basket in the lower portion of the storage chamber, wherein the first storage basket is provided with at least one regulation member to draw the second storage basket into the storage chamber when the door is closed. Since the storage baskets are completely drawn into the storage chamber, the refrigerator improves the convenience of use.

The refrigerator includes a sliding rail unit guiding forward and backward movement of the upper box, a bracket which is prepared between the upper box and the sliding rail unit to combine the upper box and the sliding rail unit, and a release-lock member, which includes a handle on an upper surface and an inclined surface at one side of a lower surface. The release-lock member is inserted into insert holes formed in the upper box and the bracket to fix the bracket to the upper box, thereby preventing the upper box from being separated from the sliding rail unit when the upper box moves forward or backward.
