The fan module includes a fan, a shroud having a receiving hole positioned around the fan, a fan mounting portion coupled to a rear surface of the shroud on which the fan is mounted, the rear surface facing a downstream airflow direction of the fan, and a concave recess provided on a rear surface of the shroud and circling the receiving hole. The fan module prevents noise caused by air passing through the receiving hole and prevents flow loss.

Abstract: A cleaner that can have the sufficient capability of collecting pollutant particles by a battery voltage as well as a AC voltage. The cleaner uses a switched reluctance motor to rotate a collecting fan. The switched reluctance motor is driven by a motor driver in one of a PWM mode or a pulse trigger mode. The motor driver drives the switched reluctance motor using one of the battery voltage and a DC voltage converted from the AC voltage, depending on whether the AC voltage is received. The PWM mode and the trigger mode are switched depending on whether the AC voltage is received. Accordingly, the cleaner makes it possible to reduce the time taken to clean up pollutant particles using the battery voltage to the time taken to clean up the pollutant particles using the AC voltage.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method for determining a frequency of a power brush in a vacuum cleaner. According to the method of the present invention, a mechanical oscillation frequency of a driving unit, which includes a brush body reciprocated within a range of prescribed angles, and a torsion bar for providing a prescribed elastic force to angular rotation of the brush body, is set equally to a driving frequency of a power supply unit, which drives the driving unit, or is set a prescribed percentage higher or lower than the driving frequency of the power supply unit, so that the driving unit can resonate. A large amount of movement is obtained using a small amount of power by means of the resonance.

Abstract: Disclosed is a high speed type impeller, including: a body having a shaft coupling hole into which a rotation shaft of a motor is coupled, the outer circumference of the body being widened from the top to bottom end in the insertion direction of the rotation shaft to form a bent surface, a step portion shadowed in the radial direction being formed on the top end of the body; a plurality of blades installed on the bent surface of the body to be bent at a predetermined angle to the rotation shaft direction; and an upper reinforcing ring installed at the step portion of the body. Even through the impeller is made of a low cost material, the reinforcing ring reinforces the weak portion of the impeller to improve durability. Reliability of the impeller is attained with high economical efficiency.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a suction head for a vacuum cleaner, including a casing having a suction port for sucking alien substances from the floor, an agitator rotatably installed inside the suction port, a plurality of brushes being arranged on the agitator in the length direction, an agitator driving unit for driving the agitator to perform reciprocating rotation in a predetermined angle range, and a resonance unit for resonating the reciprocating rotation of the agitator driving unit. The suction head for the vacuum cleaner improves cleaning performance of the vacuum cleaner.

Abstract: A swing motor having an opening formed asymmetrically inside a stator. The swing motor is formed with an asymmetrical opening, in particular in a semicircular shape inside the stator. The opening is provided with a plurality of salient poles wound with coils. Electric current alternately flows through the coils so that a rotor, installed in the stator in a state of being spaced apart from the stator, can reciprocally move. Since the height of the stator is reduced by forming the opening asymmetrically in comparison with the case of forming the opening symmetrically, it is advantageous for minimizing the size of the product in which the swing motor is installed.
