Abstract: An ice supplying device of a refrigerator is disclosed, which has a structure a container is easily mounted in a door, or separated from the door. The ice supplying device includes an icemaker for making ice with a cool air of a freezer; a container mounted in a door in perpendicular to the inside of the door, the door for opening or closing the freezer, and provided below the icemaker for storing the ice when the door is closed; a dispenser provided on an outer surface of the door; and an ice chute provided in the door so as to connect the container and the dispenser with each other.

Abstract: An ice supply system of a refrigerator is provided. The ice supply system of the refrigerator includes an icemaker, a container, a crusher and an ice discharger. The icemaker produces the ice by using cool air of the freezer and drops the ice to a lower part of thereof. The container is provided at a lower part of the icemaker. The container is insertable into and detachable from the door of the refrigerator. The container includes an open top, a first opening at a side thereof, a transfer device rotating and transferring the ice of the first opening, and an outlet for discharging the ice. The crusher crushes the ice transferred by the transfer device and the ice discharger is provided for discharging the ice to an ice chute at the door by controlling a size of an opening of the outlet.

Abstract: Disclosed is a quick ice-making control method of an ice-maker for a refrigerator, in which an ejector for extracting obtained ice stirs supplied water to be frozen so as to promote thermal transmission of the water. The quick ice-making control method includes the steps of (a) supplying water into an ice-maker mold, (b) quickly freezing the water by rotating an ejector for a predetermined time after the step (a), and (c) separating the obtained ice from the ice-maker mold in case that a temperature of the ice-maker mold is lower than a predetermined temperature after the step (b).

Abstract: An icemaker for an ice supply system for preventing water from overflowing from the ice tray by vibration and/or shaking of the surrounding structure includes an icemaker, a container provided at a lower part of the icemaker and an ice chute for supplying the ice stored in the ice container. An ejector in the ice tray of the icemaker and a dropper device having an inclined upper surface at a side of the open top of the ice tray are provided for dropping the ice discharged upwardly by the ejector. An overflow prevention device is provided at another side of the open top of the ice tray for preventing water filled in the ice tray from overflowing. The overflow prevention device includes a panel extending upward from the ice tray and a cover coupled with the hinge at the top of the ice tray.

A case having a cavity therein is provided at the door opening and closing the cooling chamber. A first duct is provided in the cabinet for supplying cool air generated around the evaporator to the cooling chamber and a second duct is provided in the cabinet for supplying the cool air to the cavity. The icemaker is provided at the cavity for producing ice and the ice container is provided at the cavity for storing the ice. The dispenser is provided at the door in communication with the cavity for supplying the ice to a user outside.
