  • Patent number: 9359346
Abstract: Disclosed are a novel benzamide derivative and pharmaceutical use thereof, and more particularly, a novel benzamide derivative having a structure of Formula 1 or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, and a composition for prevention or treatment of pain or itching including the above material. The novel benzamide derivative and pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof according to the present invention exhibit excellent pain-suppressive effect and, in particular, pain-suppressive effect in not only a neuropathic animal model but also other models such as a formalin model, and therefore, may be used in suppression of different pains such as nociceptive pain, chronic pain, etc.

  • Patent number: 7907103
Abstract: A plasma display apparatus and a driving method of a plasma display panel are provided. This may include a plasma display panel having a plurality of scan electrodes and sustain electrodes, and a plurality of address electrodes formed to intersect with the plurality of scan electrodes and sustain electrodes. A driving unit/circuit may drive the scan electrodes, the sustain electrodes, and the address electrodes to allow a voltage difference between the scan electrode and the sustain electrode or a voltage difference between the scan electrode and the address electrode during an address period at one or more subfields of a frame to be larger than a voltage difference between the scan electrode and the sustain electrode or a voltage difference between the scan electrode and the address electrode during the address period at other subfields.

  • Patent number: 7719490
Abstract: An apparatus for driving a PDP is capable of controlling a scan reference voltage when set up pulses are supplied to scan electrodes Y1 to Ym in a set up period of a reset period and when the scan reference voltage is supplied to the scan electrodes in an address period to reduce the generation of noise. The apparatus for driving the PDP comprises scan electrodes, a scan reference voltage supply comprising a resistance for applying a scan rising waveform that rises to a scan reference voltage with a second slope to the scan electrodes after a rising ramp waveform and a falling ramp waveform having a first slope have been applied to the scan electrodes, and a negative scan voltage supply for applying a negative scan pulse that falls from the scan reference voltage applied by the scan reference voltage supply to the scan electrodes.

  • Patent number: 7714807
Abstract: A plasma display apparatus and a method of driving the same are disclosed. The plasma display apparatus includes a driver supplying a first signal and a second signal to a scan electrode during a reset period of at least one of a plurality of subfields of a frame. The first signal gradually rises from a first voltage to a second voltage with a first slope, and then falls from the second voltage to a third voltage with a second slope. The second signal rises from the third voltage to a fourth voltage, and then gradually rises from the fourth voltage to a fifth voltage with a third slope.

  • Patent number: 7474278
Abstract: A plasma display apparatus is provided. The plasma display apparatus comprises an energy recovery unit and a sustain driver for applying a voltage recovered from the energy recovery unit to sustain electrodes as a bias voltage in an address period. The voltage recovered to a source capacitor is applied as the bias voltage in the address period so that it is possible to apply the bias voltage that varies in accordance with the sustain voltage of a plasma display panel without an additional external power source. As a result, it is possible to reduce the manufacturing expenses of the plasma display apparatus.
