  • Patent number: 10246166
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a natural gas hydrate tank container loading system for transporting natural gas hydrate, and the present disclosure provides a natural gas hydrate tank container loading system, enabling self-powered power generation and boil-off (BOG) gas treatment, includes: a refrigerator for inhibiting the generation of boil-off gas which naturally generates in a natural gas hydrate tank container during transportation; and a solar cell, a battery, and a generator, which operates by means of the boil-off gas, for supplying electric power to the refrigerator, thereby ensuring a generation capacity sufficient to operate the refrigerator by means of the solar cell, the generator, and the battery, and thus always maintaining a stable phase equilibrium (self-preservation) in the natural gas hydrate tank container even during long-distance transportation and solving problems of fire, environmental pollution, or the like which occur when the boil-off gas (BOG) is discharged to the outside.

  • Patent number: 9290242
Abstract: By mooring or slowly moving the catamaran in a current through which a garage patch formed of disused plastic particles over than 90% is drifting, a heap of the marine debris flows into the bow of the catamaran and then is smashed. While the disused plastic particles that have been smashed at the bow of the catamaran is moving from the bow toward the stern by way of the tunnel between hulls of the catamaran, the plastic particles are first classified by differences of densities. These first classified plastic particles are collected and then transferred into a narrow and long inside of the catamaran, being finally classified by a triboelectrostatic action. Thereafter, these finally classified plastic particles are made to be pallets which are to be transported to a land facility for recycling or abandoning them.

  • Patent number: 6732672
Abstract: A trimaran type WIG (Wing-In-Ground) effect ship with a minimum waterplane area is disclosed. This WIG ship comprises a main hull and two half-submerged sub-hulls each having a minimum waterplane area capable of minimizing the wave resistance and appendage resistance of the ship, thus reducing speed loss on rough water. The WIG ship also has main and sub-wings and an effective propelling mechanism, designed such that they produce a strong lift force allowing a take-off of the ship sailing on water even at a low speed. The WIG ship is thus excellent in its seakeeping and maneuverability on the rough water. In the WIG ship, the main hull is intermediately positioned between the main wings and comprises a slender and half-submerged body, and bears 60% of the total displacement of the ship. The sub-hulls are respectively provided under the outer ends of the main wings, and each bear 20% of the total displacement, and act as an end plate.
