    Abstract: An exemplary embodiment of the present invention provides a method and system for prioritizing network failures. The method includes assigning a category to a network fault. The method also includes determining an incident score for the network fault within the category. The method also includes generating a normalized score by normalizing the incident score with a plurality of other incident scores in the category. The method further includes using the normalized score to rank the network fault among a plurality of other network faults of other different categories.
