    Abstract: Provided are an attenuated virus of a flavivirus virus and the use thereof. The attenuated virus comprises a polyadenylic acid (poly(A)) sequence, wherein the polyadenylic acid (poly(A)) is used for replacing a part of the nucleotide sequence of a 3? untranslated region (3?UTR) of the flavivirus virus, so that the 3? untranslated region (3?UTR) of the attenuated virus obtained after the part of the nucleotide sequence of the flavivirus virus is replaced at least retains a 3?-end stem loop region (3?SL). The attenuated virus can be used for preparing safe and effective attenuated vaccine strains.

    Abstract: A method of making a filter, the resulting filter, and a method of using the filter to filter proteins from solution are described. The method includes contacting a porous, polymeric substrate with a transfer liquid comprising a solvent(s) and a charged polymeric solute. The transfer liquid and the polymeric substrate have a Hansen Solubility Parameter (“HSP”) distance of from about 10 to about 35. Contacting the polymeric substrate with the transfer solution causes the polymeric substrate to accept the charged polymeric solute by diffusion transfer, thereby yielding a functionalized filter medium. Removal of the transfer liquid from the polymeric substrate traps the charged polymeric solute on the surface of the polymeric substrate.

    Abstract: A heat dissipation structure for optimizing airflow by pairing a fan and a heat sink. The structure includes a fan, a circuit board, and a supporting housing. The fan is provided with a latch portion that mates with and fixes onto the circuit board. The circuit board has a latch hole corresponding to the latch portion, and further includes a conductor wire for power connection. The fan is additionally equipped with a conduction portion that makes electrical contact with the circuit board. By rapidly coupling the latch portion of the fan with the latch hole on the circuit board, assembly is greatly simplified, while the conduction portion contacts the circuit board for powering the fan. This design particularly facilitates ease of installation and removal in multi-fan applications, as no cabling is required and any single fan can be replaced quickly, thereby satisfying user demands for simple, self-service fan swaps.

In the prior art, during the twisting process of a steel cord, due to the residual stress of a steel filament itself and the fluctuation of the tension during the unwinding process, a layered steel cord has a problem of a large interlayer residual stress. The methods controls the stress distribution state of a twisted layered steel cord by prestressing steel filaments, and avoids unflatness of a cord fabric during calendering and warping during cutting in the production process of tires.
