Publication number: 20070155463Abstract: A gaming device method and apparatus is disclosed, and is based on simulated movement of a train, or a vehicle, on a route from an origination point to a destination point. In a preferred embodiment, a random number generator is used to assign speed limits that bound the safe movement of a train in a scenario, and/or to select the actual speed of the train in the scenario. A winning scenario is defined by the train reaching its destination, and occurs when the train maintains its actual speed within the safe speed limits. This gaming concept could be implemented as a primary gaming device, or as a bonus game in a traditional gaming machine. In an alternate embodiment, a spinning wheel, controlled by a random number generator, is used to select a destination for a train approaching a track juncture. At least one destination is pre-defined as a winning destination. A plurality of sound and visual effects is also provided to heighten the enjoyment of the gaming device.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 15, 2006Publication date: July 5, 2007Inventor: Nabil Ghaly

Publication number: 20070117605Abstract: An interactive gaming device that employs a plurality of reels (mechanical or simulated) is disclosed, and includes means for the player to establish a movement direction for a reel after it comes to a complete stop. The player is also provided with a plurality of switches to establish a condition upon which the reel would move after it comes to a complete stop. The device includes a control mechanism that causes the reel to move after it comes to a complete stop when the condition established by the player is met. A determination is then made if a winning combination of symbols has occurred at a winning line.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 15, 2006Publication date: May 24, 2007Inventor: Nabil Ghaly

Publication number: 20060094332Abstract: An interactive play device, method and apparatus, is disclosed which includes means to generate a plurality of interactions, entry control means, means to store responses to interactions and control means to select the next interaction based on memorized responses. One object of this invention is to provide a new class of interactive play devices, which is founded on personalizing a play device so that its current functionality is based on past interactions with a player rather than providing an identical operation or a randomly activated function each time the device is turned “on.” The invention also provides a plurality of toy devices, which operate in a plurality of states that mimic human behavior. A preferred embodiment discloses an interactive doll device, which generates interactions that require responses from the player. The responses are memorized by the doll device and are used to select the next interaction.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 13, 2005Publication date: May 4, 2006Inventor: Nabil Ghaly

Publication number: 20050164764Abstract: An interactive gaming device, method and apparatus, is disclosed which includes means to assign binary numbers to playing positions. Each of said playing positions includes an indicator and a logical element to select and route pairs of the binary numbers to each other. Each playing position may also include an input control mechanism to enable a player to manually interact with the gaming device. Upon a random or a manual activation of a logical element, the matched pairs of binary numbers are used to generate a plurality of display codes. The device then assigns these display codes to the playing positions in order to produce colors or images at the indicators. A determination is then made if a winning display combination has occurred. A plurality of sound and visual effects are also provided to heighten the enjoyment of using the device.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 13, 2003Publication date: July 28, 2005Inventor: Nabil Ghaly
