Further, the article provides a relatively smooth apertured outer layer and a relatively coarse underlying layer whereby a user can, with the application of varied amounts of pressure, more readily achieve and control a wider range of mechanical cleaning and/or exfoliating action against the skin. In certain aspects, the article may also be impregnated with one or more topical skin cleaning and/or exfoliating compounds.

Abstract: To better facilitate the application and removal of make-up on the skin, including on the face, and especially around the eyes, the present invention provides a wiping product having two or more lobes which substantially conform to both the user's finger and the area around the user's eyes. The wiping product is not secured to the user's finger or worn like a glove, but rather is simply supported by one or more fingers in use. In this manner, the wiping product is both simple to use and provides excellent application and removal of make-up in often hard to reach areas, such as the recesses of the eyes.

The shuttle member includes: a body having: (i) an upper portion configured for attachment to the line by at least partially surrounding the line; (i) an intermediate portion that, together with the upper portion, defines at least one passage slit that is sized such that the elongate line cannot pass therethrough; and (iii) an attachment portion configured for attachment of at least a portion of a lanyard.
