The personal care composition may include a carrier and a surfactant system present in an effective amount to treat or prevent lipid peroxidation of skin. The method may include contacting the personal care composition with the skin and exposing the skin to pollution. Methods for formulation a personal care composition for treating or preventing lipid peroxidation of skin are also disclosed. Abstract: Euphorbia dendroides silver nanoparticles can have a crystalline structure and an average particle size ranging from about 7 nm to about 13 nm. The Euphorbia dendroides silver nanoparticles may be synthesized by providing a Euphorbia dendroides extract and combining the Euphorbia dendroides extract with silver nitrate. The resultant Euphorbia dendroides silver nanoparticles may be useful in treating a variety of conditions including bacterial infections, diabetes, inflammation, and cancer.
