Abstract: A fabric baby carrier is secured to an adult by simple tie straps. The carrier includes an outer pouch and an inner pouch formed on the inner surface of front panel of the outer pouch. The upper edges of both inner and outer pouches are elasticized to permit the baby a degree of freedom of movement without sacrificing secure support. Furthermore, the inner pouch is flared in the rear adjacent the crotch to prevent the legs from swinging excessively and thereby injuring the child.
