  • Patent number: 10539039
Abstract: A method of measuring temperature reached by a part, for example a turbine engine part, in operation, the method including: mechanically treating the part; oxidizing the part; and depositing a layer including a temperature indicator for indicating the temperature reached by the part in operation.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: August 12, 2013
Date of Patent: January 21, 2020
    Assignee: SAFRAN AIRCRAFT ENGINES
Inventors: Nadine Alice Helene Harivel, Sarah Hamadi
  • Patent number: 10466141
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for measuring pollutants contained in an exhaust stream exiting an engine, comprising the steps consisting of: Positioning a probe such that a sampling opening of said probe is positioned on a sampling surface provided at the outlet of the engine in the exhaust stream, and sampling the exhaust stream with said probe; Activating an analysis unit coupled with the probe in order to acquire characteristic data of the exhaust stream sampled by the probe; Controlling a movement of the probe to impart a continuous movement of the sampling opening along a specific trajectory on the sampling surface with constant surface scanning per unit of time, while continuing the sampling and the acquisition of characteristic data of the exhaust stream sampled by the probe; —Processing the data acquired by the analysis unit to measure the pollutants present in the exhaust stream. The invention also relates to a device for implementing this measuring method.

  • Patent number: 8171807
Abstract: An iso-kinetic probe for the analysis of the pollution of the gases generated by an aircraft engine is disclosed. The probe includes an air tapping tube having an upstream end inserted into a conduit wherein a gas stream flows and a gas stream inlet velocity adjustment device provided at an orifice of the tapping tube. The tube has a downstream end mounted in a fixed manner on a base. The base has an outer diameter mounted in an inner diameter d of a passage bushing. The inner diameter d of the passage bushing being sufficiently great so that the upstream end of the tube is suitable to fit through the inner diameter of the passage bushing. The probe also includes a measurement chamber having an end connected to the base.

Abstract: Iso-kinetic probe for the analysis of the pollution of the gases generated by an aircraft engine. It comprises an air tapping tube having an upstream end (24) inserted into a conduit (14) wherein a gas stream flows and gas stream inlet velocity adjustment means provided at an orifice of the tapping tube. The tube has a downstream end mounted in a fixed manner on a base (10). The base has an outer diameter mounted in an inner diameter d of a passage bushing (12). The inner diameter d of the passage bushing being sufficiently great so that the upstream end of the tube is suitable to fit through the inner diameter of the passage bushing. The probe also comprises a measurement chamber (6) having an end connected to the base.
