  • Publication number: 20170166169
Abstract: The invention relates to an assembly module (20) for a motor vehicle, comprising an optical sensor system (30), which can be used to a) monitor a detection area (21) on the outside of the motor vehicle (1) in order to determine the proximity of a user (10), b) in the event a user (10) is detected in the detection area (21), a signal for starting an authentication test between an ID transmitter (13) and an access control system (14) of the motor vehicle (1) is triggered.

  • Publication number: 20170088042
Abstract: An electronic assembly for a motor vehicle includes a housing, a control and evaluation device disposed in the housing which is adapted to be coupled to a control device of the motor vehicle and an illumination device coupled to the control and evaluation device. The illumination device is adapted to be actuated by the control and evaluation device. A target area characterizing a detection area outside of the housing can be marked by an optical signal. The illumination device is adapted to be activated by the control and evaluation device for emitting light with different colors.

  • Publication number: 20160195430
Abstract: A sensor device for a motor vehicle includes a light source, a detection device and a control and evaluation device. The control and evaluation device activates the light source to emit pulses, activates the detection device for detecting light reflected back by the environment, and evaluates the signals from the detection device. The control and evaluation device, the detection device and the light source are designed as a Time-of-Flight structure for detection in a first spatial direction such that spatially assignable distance data are detected. The light source and the detection device are disposed in a receiving space arranged along a bearing surface of a vehicle. The light source is disposed inside the receiving space in a tilted manner such than an angle of at least 5 degrees is formed between a normal to the bearing surface and an optical axis of the light source.
