Abstract: The embodiments of the present invention disclose a method and a system for unified instant messaging application/service that enables to concurrently send messages via online mode using internet and Offline or Airplane mode using WI-FI direct service/Bluetooth/WIFI. The instant messaging application first checks the contact to which message is to be sent is in its local vicinity. Once the contact, to whom a message is to be sent is available, and in the local vicinity, the messages are sent by WI-FI direct service/Bluetooth/WIFI without using the internet. If the destination user is not available nearby, then a message is delivered to an internet server or saved to history for delivering the messages to the user when the user is available, or internet is available. The messaging application also allows users to broadcast any question or information to nearby users without being connected or without using the Internet.

A user of mobile device can identify another user who is close by and has similar interests. Dynamic interests of the users can be extracted or identified based on mobile usage, browsing history, places traveled, and other user actions. Users are notified if another user who is similar more than a threshold is present nearby. The system also facilitates communication between users by way of chatting, file sharing, image sharing etc.

Abstract: A computer implemented method for a financial transaction via a financial card which by default is in blocked state is described. The method comprises receiving a request in form of a message to unblock the financial card for a predetermined duration. The request is received from an electronic communicating device (ECD) by a financial institution server (FIS). The electronic communicating device has a number wherein the number is registered with the financial card. On receiving the request, the financial institution server verifies the request and genuineness of the user and after verification authorizes the request and the financial card gets unblocked for the predetermined duration.
