The tongue portion has a plurality of upper terminal slots, and each of the conductive terminals is set in a corresponding upper terminal slot. The body has at least one lower terminal slot at bottom side, and at least one detection terminal is set therein. When a male connector which can support high power transmission is inserted into the USB connector, the detection terminal is triggered, and the USB connector provides higher outputted power.

A plurality of terminal slots is defined in a connection port of the insulating body and communicates with the first containing space. The plurality of connection terminals is configured in the first containing space, and exposed to the connection port to constitute a RJ-45 connector with the connection port. The USB connector is configured in the second containing space. Power pin and ground pin of the USB connector are electrically connected to NC pins of the plurality of connection terminals separately. Therefore, the USB connector receives power from a mainboard to provide to the RJ-45 connector. In contrary, the RJ-45 connector receives power by way of PoE to provide to the USB connector.

    Abstract: A connector with embedded charging integrated circuits mainly has an insulating housing, an insulating base, a plurality of connecting terminals, a PCB, a charging IC, and a plurality of forwarding terminals. A tongue portion extends outward from one side of the insulating housing, a plurality of terminal slots are disposed in the tongue portion. The connecting terminals, the forwarding terminals and the charging IC electrically connect with the PCB. The insulating base is to carry the PCB, and the connecting terminals are accommodated in the terminal slots while the insulating base assembles with the insulating housing. While the connector receives electrical energy provided by the motherboard of an external device, the charging current provided by the motherboard is transmitted to the charging IC through the forwarding terminals, the charging current processed and improved by the charging IC is output via the connecting terminals to speed up the charging.

One end of each electrically conductive terminal extends out of the insulating body and is electrically connected to the circuit board. The electrically conductive terminals and the tongue portions together construct multiple connecting ports having the same interface. The outputting terminals are disposed on the circuit board and electrically connected to the hub IC.
