    Abstract: The present invention relates to a steroidal saponins compound, and the preparation and application in curing cardiovascular diseases, such as miocardial infarction, etc. The chemical structure of the steroidal saponins compound is as (I) or (II): wherein, R1=?-D-glucose; R2=straight or bifurcate sugar chains; R3?H or CH3. In this invention, by various ways of separation, the steroidal saponins compound with chemical structure of (I) or (II) could be extracted, synthesized or semi-synthesized process from traditional Chinese medicine and natural products. Oral dosage drug or non-oral dosage drug was produced by the single steroidal saponins compound or the mixture of these compounds in vary ratio, the drug can be used to prevention and cure the diseases miocardial infarction, coronary artery disease, heart angina, arrhythmia, blood losing of cardiac muscle, hypertension, hyperlipaemia and ropy blood, etc.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a novel diterpene compounds with antineoplastic activities. The novel diterpene compounds of the present invention are represented by the general formula (I). R1 to R6 in the formula represent an aliphatic group, or a radical represented by the general formula RCO—, wherein R represents an aliphatic, an aromatic or a heteroaromatic group. The compounds of the present invention may be prepared by extracting roots of Euphorbia kansui L. with an organic solvent such as chloroform, ethyl acetate and butanol. These extracted compounds may be used as starting materials for the preparation of the compounds represented by the general formula (I). The compounds of the present invention have antineoplastic activities, and therefore, useful as antineoplastic agents.
