  • Publication number: 20240069492
Abstract: A display apparatus is disclosed. The display apparatus according to the disclosure includes a display including a display panel and a plurality of reflectors that are arranged in a form of an inverted pyramid on the front surface of the display panel and reflect an image output from the display panel, a sensor, and at least one processor which identifies an object from an input image, acquires an output image including the plurality of objects based on the plurality of reflectors, and controls the display panel to display the output image, wherein the processor is configured to, based on identifying a user through the sensor, update the output image based on the identified user, and control the display panel to display the updated output image.

  • Patent number: 5135163
Abstract: A thermostatically controlled three-way valve is provided with a valve actuating assembly containing a wax-type thermally responsive acutator that is mechanically separate from a valve assembly containing a valve poppet supported by a valve stem so as to facilitate the replacement of a dysfunctioning wax-type thermally responsive actuator. In the event such a problem occurs with the wax-type thermally responsive actuator due to the operation of the valve, a manual override mechanism employing a hollow threaded nut arrangement can be used to engage the valve stem and manually position the valve poppet to control fluid flow through the valve.

  • Patent number: 5116284
Abstract: A tensioner for a power transmission belt or the like includes a housing providing an elongated interior cavity opening out of one end of the housing and a piston positioned within the cavity for movement therealong for dividing at least a part of the interior cavity into first and second variable-volume chambers for holding hydraulic fluid wherein the second variable-volume chamber is closer to the one housing end than is the first variable-volume chamber. The tensioner utilizes a distensible bellows section connected between the piston and the housing for separating the second variable-volume chamber from the cavity opening at one end of the housing. A plunger is connected to the piston and extends out of the one end of the housing, and a spring is interposed between the piston and the housing for biasing the piston toward the one end of the interior cavity so that the plunger is urged out of the one housing end.

  • Patent number: 4359203
Abstract: A valve structure in which a valve member moves into and out of contact with first and second valve seating areas, the valve member contacting the seating areas with different forces. The movable valve member is comprised of block members coupled together so that a change in their relative longitudinal positions produces a corresponding change in their relative transverse positions. A stem member moves the block members to spaced longitudinal positions and produces different longitudinal separating forces between the block member in these positions thereby to urge one of the block members in a transverse direction with different forces against the valve seating areas. The application of forces directly through block members and indirectly through springs is employed to provide different valve seating forces. Block members for valve port blocking and valve port opening are utilized. A shock absorbing structure incorporating a movable spring holder is also utilized.

  • Patent number: 4195813
Abstract: A positive acting valve suitable for operation in a corrosive environment is provided. The valve includes a hollow valve body defining an open-ended bore for receiving two, axially aligned, spaced-apart, cylindrical inserts. One insert, designated the seat insert, terminates inside the valve body in an annular face which lies within plane normal to the axis of the two inserts. An elastomeric O-ring seal is disposed in a groove extending about the annular face. The other insert, designated the wedge insert, terminates inside the valve body in at least two surfaces oppositely inclined with respect to each other and with respect to a plane normal to the axis of the two inserts. An elongated reciprocable gate, movable between the two inserts along a path normal to the axis of the two inserts, has a first flat face portion disposed adjacent and parallel to the annular face of the seat insert.

  • Patent number: 4187764
Abstract: A fast-acting valve actuator utilizes a spring driven pneumatically loaded piston to drive a valve gate. Rapid exhaust of pressurized gas from the pneumatically loaded side of the piston facilitates an extremely rapid piston stroke. A flexible selector diaphragm opens and closes an exhaust port in response to pressure differentials created by energizing and de-energizing a solenoid which controls the pneumatic input to the actuator as well as selectively providing a venting action to one side of the selector diaphragm.

  • Patent number: 4050473
Abstract: A valve seat cleaning device utilizing a valve head of resilient material in the shape of a frustum of a cone. A flexible circular disk is positioned against that end of the valve head of lesser diameter. The circular disk is of somewhat greater diameter than that end of the valve head so that it may perform a wiping action to wipe away dirt particles from the valve seat.

  • Patent number: 3955792
Abstract: An actuating mechanism for a movable valve member which is spring biased toward a first valve position. A cable is coupled at one portion thereof to the movable valve member and is wound about a drum on another portion thereof. The drum winds the cable thereon and moves the valve to a second valve position. The drum is released to permit the valve member to move under the action of the biasing spring to the first valve position.
