Abstract: Disclosed is a display apparatus which facilitates minimized thickness by innovatively removing a case and some portions of a set cover, which have been regarded as indispensable structures for the display apparatus, and simultaneously facilitates good aesthetic exterior appearance of the display apparatus by a novel design. The display apparatus comprises a set cover exposed externally and formed to have a storage space; a guide frame received in the storage space; a screw coupled to the guide frame by penetrating through the set cover so as to fix the guide frame to the set cover; a display unit placed onto the guide frame; and an adhesive member for fixedly adhering the display unit to the guide frame.

Abstract: In various example embodiments, a system and method for providing listing assistance to a user is provided. In example embodiments, a selection of a category is received from a device of the user. A plurality of publications that match the selection of the category is retrieved. Statistic data is generated using information from the plurality of publications. The statistic data is provided to the device of the user for display on a user interface.

Abstract: A computer system (a method) for exchanging information such as a Universal Resource Locator (URL) or a Universal Resource Identifier (URI) over a communication channel in general and over a telephone communications channel in particular in a unified communications system is disclosed. In one embodiment, the system comprises a phone URL exchange unit configured to receive a phone URL exchange request from a first endpoint, to determine the URL to be sent and URL encoding method based on the request, to encode the URL into audio data or as a part of the communications control signals using the URL encoding method and to send the encoded data to a second endpoint over the telephone communications channel. The phone URL exchange unit is further configured to receive audio data or the communications control signals embedded with a URL and to decode the received data to reveal the URL.

It is determined whether a polygon in the subset of polygons causes an occlusion of the sound source at the listener position, and a play list of sounds is generated based on the reflections and occlusions.

In another implementation, the electrode can include a contact element having an upper surface in contact with the electrode plate and a lower surface configured to contact a subject's skin. The contact element is adapted to contain a conductive fluid and provide a conductive path from the subject's skin to the sensor circuit by way of the electrode plate therebetween.

The electrode headset can be formed from substantially rigid components including some flexibility to snugly embrace a variety of head shapes and sizes, while providing reliable positioning of electrodes according to an electrode placement scheme on a subject's head. Alternatively, the electrode headset can be formed from soft and stretchable bands with voids formed therebetween.

Abstract: Improved techniques to record one or more scheduled programs for later viewing are disclosed. Without compromising the quality of a broadcast program being currently delivered in a required bandwidth of a network, a buffer mechanism is provided to accommodate using of the remaining available bandwidth of the network to deliver the requested one or more scheduled programs. In one embodiment, the buffer mechanism is controlled or configured to convert transmission rates of the scheduled programs to be recorded in accordance with the remaining available bandwidth. Thus the required bandwidth needed to ensure the quality of the scheduled program being currently delivered for viewing is not affected. The buffered contents are transmitted to the client machines via a broadband local loop using uni-cast, multi-cast or a combination of both. An optional backup copy of the locally recorded scheduled programs is stored in a centrally located storage server farm.
