Abstract: Methods and apparatus are provided for providing a hub service is provided. Access is provided to a user terminal device. It is determined whether the user terminal device is a pre-registered device. A service hub program set for the user terminal is transmitted from the server to the user terminal device, when the user terminal device is the pre-registered device. At least one application program corresponding to the service hub program and the user terminal device is transmitted from the server to the user terminal device.

Abstract: An application protection method and an application execution method using the same are provided. The application protection method generates a key needed to execute the application which is provided to a user terminal using information on the user terminal, information on the application, and a part of text; and transmits the generated key to the user terminal. Therefore, the application is executed on the device which has a legal right for the application, thereby preventing the illegal use of the application.

Abstract: A method for providing a service in a user terminal device, which includes downloading a service hub program, installing the service hub program, generating an icon container corresponding to the service hub program, and displaying the icon container on a screen. If the icon container is selected, a list regarding an application program corresponding to the service hub program and a list regarding an icon of the application program are received from the server, and an icon regarding each application program included in the list regarding the application program corresponding to the service hub program is displayed according to the list regarding the icon of the application program.

Abstract: A method for installing an application according to an exemplary embodiment downloads an application purchased by a client and installs the application in a terminal in an asynchronous manner. The method includes transmitting a request to download at least one application to the server, downloading an application from the server in response to the request to download at least one application and storing the downloaded application, and installing the stored application in the terminal in an order of completion of downloading of the application.

Abstract: A search method, an apparatus, and a system for providing preview information are provided. The search method includes receiving a list of search result items and preview information from a server in real time and outputting the list and the preview information. Therefore, a search time can be efficiently reduced, which enables a user to obtain a desired search result more rapidly.

Abstract: A method for accessing to an external site and a mobile communication terminal using the same to gain access to a site according to a country of the user. A revocation entity registered in the first device after the registration time of time information of the revocation list of the second device is copied in the revocation list of the second device, if the registration time of extracted time information of the revocation list of the first device is later than the registration time of the extracted time information of the revocation list of the second device. Thus, the revocation list can be updated by connecting the first and second devices even in an offline state.
