Publication number: 20230381439Abstract: An adjustable airway securement device that protects and enables placement, and positional stability of airway devices or endotracheal tube apparatus (ETT) of different lengths and diameters adapted to fit the airways of patients having oral and tracheal anatomical structures and facial geometries of various sizes. An internal force-exerting member, such as a flexible beam member operatively connected to an Interlock, collar, or a bonding material, or a surface texturing structure is urged into securing engagement with a sidewall of an airway device in response to rotational closure of a securing apparatus or a clamshell-type clamping member. The clamping member is configured to interact in clamping engagement with the continuous sidewall of the airway device via the Interlock device adjustably positioned in the stabilization system to prevent clinically significant movement of the distal end of the airway device with respect to the vocal cords of the patient.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 29, 2021Publication date: November 30, 2023Inventors: Arthur Kanowitz, Nam Trinh, Katie McIntyre, Mark Bruning, Patrick Parkinson, Liad Marom, Ryan Thomson, Taylor Thompson, Nick Rydberg, Janis Paulis Skujins, Patrick Boldenow

Publication number: 20230228574Abstract: The invention provides an inertial sensing device the capability to achieve self-alignment (sensor error compensation), by using dual-rotation modulation technique. The self-alignment process is performed based on fully building the sensor's mathematical model and rotating the inertial sensor blocks in a specific order. The advantages of this technology are fast calibration time, high accuracy, and the ability to separate independent movements on the axes of the inertial sensor. The inertial sensor based on a dual-rotation modulation platform is applied to marine and aeronautical fields.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 6, 2023Publication date: July 20, 2023Applicant: VIETTEL GROUPInventors: XUAN CHIEN VUONG, DUC ANH NGUYEN, VAN HIEP HOANG, HAI NAM TRINH

Publication number: 20230124918Abstract: An airway. stabilization system that may be used with human patients or with animal patients in veterinary applications having anatomical and facial geometries of various sizes and configurations including pediatric, and, in particular, addresses the unique challenges associated with maintaining the mechanical ventilation of infants and children. The stabilization system may be fitted to any airway device or endotracheal tube apparatus of any size to maintain an airway in a human or animal patient’s trachea and allows both lateral and longitudinal adjustment of the airway device insertion depth and prevents unintended extubation of a patient resulting from the application of multidirectional forces of any type to the airway device.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 9, 2021Publication date: April 20, 2023Applicant: Securisyn Medical, LLCInventors: Arthur Kanowitz, Janis Paulis Skujins, Patrick Boldenow, Nicholas Rydberg, Mark Bruning, Katherine McIntyre, Nam Trinh

Publication number: 20200340409Abstract: A system and method for controlling gas turbine engines with maximum thrust of less than 500 kgf. The control system includes electronic control unit (“ECU”), sensors and actuators. To ensure the requirement of compactness, physical control system simplicity but maintain stability and accurate operation for the engine, the control system does not include components such as Fuel Control Unit (“FCU”), alternator and corresponding rectifier circuits. A sensor, instead of alternator's wave form signal, is used to detect the rotational speed of the engine. Voltage regulation into the electric motor driving the fuel pump controls fuel flow, instead of the FCU. The control method consists of upper and lower limits computation calculation blocks of the control signal, and PID control algorithm block with coefficients designed to be suitable for the engine operating ranges. Control is implemented through a 7-step calculation process. Piecewise linearization modeling and tuning PID coefficients is also presented.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 23, 2020Publication date: October 29, 2020Applicant: VIETTEL GROUPInventors: PHI MINH NGUYEN, VAN SON BUI, HUY HOANG NGUYEN, VAN SON PHAM, THANH NAM TRINH
