Abstract: A voice recognition apparatus includes a voice recognition processor configured to determine whether or not a voice command included in log data related to operation execution of an apparatus is a normal recognition utterance intentionally uttered by a user by analyzing the log data, and build a DB with respect to a recognition result of the voice command determined as the normal recognition utterance as a determination result.

Abstract: A display apparatus includes an input unit configured to receive a user command; an output unit configured to output a registration suitability determination result for the user command; and a processor configured to generate phonetic symbols for the user command, analyze the generated phonetic symbols to determine registration suitability for the user command, and control the output unit to output the registration suitability determination result for the user command. Therefore, the display apparatus may register a user command which is resistant to misrecognition and guarantees high recognition rate among user commands defined by a user.

Abstract: An image display apparatus, a method for driving the same, and a computer readable recording medium are provided. The image display apparatus includes a speech acquirer configured to acquire a speech command created by a user, a speech recognition executor configured to acquire text information which has a phonetic symbol that is the same as or similar to a phonetic symbol of a text-based recognition result corresponding to the acquired speech command and is expressed in a form that is different from a form of the text-based recognition result, and an operation performer configured to perform an operation corresponding to the acquired text information.

Abstract: An electronic device and a voice recognition method thereof are provided. A voice recognition method of an electronic device includes receiving trigger voice, storing a characteristic of the trigger voice for voice verification by analyzing the trigger voice. When a user issues a voice command, determining whether the user voice command comprises the characteristic belonging to the trigger voice, and performing function of the electronic device corresponding to the user voice command based on the determination. Accordingly, users may easily use the voice recognition function of the electronic device.
