  • Patent number: 8182658
Abstract: An anode 20 of an electrochemical device 10 is connected to the cathode of a battery 30, and a cathode 22 of the electrochemical device 10 is connected to the anode of the battery. An electrolyte layer 24 containing electrolytes is arranged between the anode 20 and the cathode 22. Electrolyte layer 24 is formed by alternately laminating two types of electrolytes formed in the shape of plates. A first electrolyte is a proton conductor 26, and a second electrolyte is an oxygen ion conductor 28. A purification apparatus 120 includes a plurality of electrochemical devices 10.

  • Publication number: 20090162257
Abstract: A purification apparatus 120 includes a plurality of electrochemical devices 10. An anode 20 of each electrochemical device 10 is connected to a cathode of a battery, and a cathode of the electrochemical device 10 is connected to an anode of the battery. An electrolyte layer 24 containing an electrolyte is arranged between the anode 20 and the cathode 22. The electrolyte layer 24 contains a polymer film 26 and a support body 40 having a honeycomb structure and supporting the polymer film 26. The polymer film 26 is an electrolyte that exhibits conductivity with respect to protons H+.

  • Publication number: 20090145108
Abstract: An exhaust gas purifying system is used for purifying exhaust gas discharged from an internal combustion engine installed in a vehicle. The exhaust gas purifying system includes an electrochemical device and a control device. The electrochemical device includes an anode, a cathode and an electrolyte layer disposed between the anode and the cathode. The control device is operable to control the internal combustion engine and the electrochemical device. The control device receives data on condition of the internal combustion engine and controls amount of electric current to be supplied to the electrochemical device based on the data. The data represents amount of exhaust gas. When the control device recognizes that the amount of exhaust gas is increased, the control device increases the amount of electric current to be supplied to the electrochemical device.

  • Patent number: 7122956
Abstract: An organic light emitting diode (OLED) display comprises: an insulating substrate; common electrodes; a first electrode layer formed in a region adjacent to the common electrodes formed on the insulating substrate electrically isolated from the common electrodes; an insulating layer which coats the insulating substrate and respectively opens a first opening window exposing a part of the common electrodes and a second opening window exposing at least a part of the first electrode layer; ribs or walls which form a cell area by crossing the common electrodes on the insulating substrate and surround each of the opening windows; a material layer formed on the first electrode layer exposed by the second opening window; and a second electrode layer which coats the cell area surrounded by the ribs and is electrically connected to the common electrodes through the first opening window.

  • Publication number: 20030191229
Abstract: To provide a resin composition having superior rigidity and conductivity at a low price. Movers 11a and 11b are produced as a conductive resin composition by resin molding of a resin composition obtained by melt kneading vapor grown carbon fibers (VGCF) and carbon fibers with a thermoplastic resin such as PPS (polyphenylene sulfide). Among the four external surfaces of each mover, a plurality of convexes 12 extending to the direction perpendicular an optical axis A direction of an electrostatic actuator 3 are formed on the opposing surfaces to an upper stator 21a and a lower stator 21b. Accordingly, the carbon fibers having conductivity are aligned over the whole of each mover, especially even in the fine convexes 12 provided on the external surface thereof, and the VGCF is uniformly dispersed and aligned even in portions where the carbon fibers are not aligned.
