  • Publication number: 20240143668
Abstract: Described herein is a technique to facilitate filtering during candidate retrieval stage performed by an information retrieval system that utilizes embedding models. An aNN indexing structure is created for each end-user, and in some instances, each activity type. This allows a single request for candidate content items to invoke a single process to obtain content items that satisfy the filtering criteria (e.g., in this case, the in-network requirement) from the separate per-end-user indexes.
    Type: Application
    Filed: October 26, 2022
    Publication date: May 2, 2024
Inventors: Francisco José Claude Faust, Ali Mohamed, Nisheedh Raveendran, Namit Sikka, Siddharth Dangi, Birjodh Singh Tiwana, Adam Robert Peck

  • Patent number: 11863474
Abstract: A system, method and non-transitory computer readable media for facilitating network connectivity in a split architecture fronthaul network (102) comprising a plurality of cells (118-1 to 118-5, 120-1 to 120-5) and one or more BBU hubs (108A, 108B), each hub comprising at least a BBU (110-N, 112-M). An example cell allocation process (400B, 500A) is configured to assign cells to the hubs sequentially, i.e., a hub must be completely full (e.g., with respect to certain predetermined capacity such as port utilization) before adding cells to any other hubs. Once a hub is full, the allocated cells are further assigned to the individual BBUs of the hub also sequentially (500B). An optimal cell allocation map (418) is thereby obtained, which may be used in (re)configuring the connectivity between the cells (118-1 to 118-5, 120-1 to 120-5) and the hubs/BBUs (110-N, 112-M).

  • Publication number: 20230415600
Abstract: A method to scale EV charging infrastructure incrementally at low cost using a novel distributed control system. Distributed Control system comprises of a distributed network of nodal controllers and power flow sensors minoring the hierarchal architecture of electrical power distribution network of facilities and city utilities The control system optimizes the electric power flow in the electrical circuits of the charging network given the constraints imposed by the addition of EV chargers in the electrical power distribution network and by the varying activity of EV chargers in the structure.

  • Patent number: 11485249
Abstract: A system for configuring an Electric Vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure, the apparatus comprising. The system receives user direction and inputs regarding a custom EV charging infrastructure, submits the data an optimal planning module which is configured for performing optimization based on objectives in view of a set of constraints; and generates a recommendation from the optimal planning module for a custom EV charging infrastructure based on charging needs and behavior of the consumers toward deferring upgrades in electric infrastructure without compromising energy required for electrical transportation.
