  • Publication number: 20140067327
Abstract: A similarity (or health condition evaluation) curve-based equipment fault early detection and operation optimization methodology and system, includes: selection of normal operating data from historical equipment operation records; generation of data collection from normal operating data, and creation of a data model covering equipment multi-operation conditions based on the distribution of data collections; creation of a health condition evaluation or condition similarity curve using continuous relativity calculations between online real-time operating data and historical data in the model; automatic generation of equipment health condition safety baseline through scoring on historical normal equipment operation records; Based on the change of equipment health condition evaluation curve against the safety baseline, in combining with identifying abnormally-changed process variables which lead to the decrease of health condition evaluation values, early warning on equipment health condition change is published

  • Publication number: 20130336120
Abstract: The present invention relates to a vehicle communication system and method used when transmitting and receiving driving information of a vehicle to and from surrounding vehicles. According to the present invention, a host vehicle may transmit and receive driving information to and from its surrounding vehicles to find out information about a position, a speed, a driving direction, etc., thereby decreasing traffic accident risk. However, transmission and reception of the driving information may not be smoothly performed depending on surrounding communication conditions. The present invention provides a communication congestion control device and method for smoothly performing data transmission and reception between vehicles depending on surrounding conditions, by setting a time frame variably depending on surrounding communication conditions and transmitting data on the basis of the changed time frame.

  • Publication number: 20130018307
Abstract: A steerable multi-lumen catheter is provided which can be used in cardiology procedures where the catheter allows clinicians to access the small pulmonary arteries for monitoring and performing interventional procedures. The catheter allows precise changes in direction and simplifies challenging navigation procedures such as crossing a thick and calcified aortic valve with a wire. A bendable tip aids navigation during interventional radiology and neurology procedures to enter tortuous vessels or aneurysms.
