Abstract: Systems and methods for training a machine learning (ML) ranking model to rank genealogy hints are described herein. One method includes retrieving a plurality of genealogy hints for a target person, where each of the plurality of genealogy hints corresponds to a genealogy item and has a hint type of a plurality of hint types. The method includes generating, for each of the plurality of genealogy hints, a feature vector having a plurality of feature values, the feature vector being included in a plurality of feature vectors. The method includes extending each of the plurality of feature vectors by at least one additional feature value based on the number of features of one or more other hint types of the plurality of hint types. The method includes training the ML ranking model using the extended plurality of feature vectors and user-provided labels.

Abstract: A mechanism is provided in a data processing system for predictive and prescriptive analytics for managing high-cost claimants. The mechanism trains a machine learning model using the set of de-identified claims data to predict high-cost claimants using the training data. The mechanism applies transfer learning by retraining the machine learning model using a first set of customized client data to generate a client-specific machine learning model. The mechanism then applies the client-specific machine learning model to a second set of customized client data to identify a set of predicted high-cost claimants within the second set of customized client data. The mechanism generates association rules for determining recommendations for preventing the set of predicted high-cost claimants from becoming high-cost claimants and applies the association rules to the second set of customized client data to generate a set of recommendations.

Abstract: Provided is a biological peptide for treating lung diseases and an application thereof. Also provided is a preparation method and an application of the polypeptide, as well as a pharmaceutical composition containing the polypeptide. The polypeptide of the present invention has many advantages, such as small molecular weight, low production cost, excellent water solubility, excellent stability, long half-life, low immunogenicity, low toxic side effects, and strong tissue penetration. Moreover, the polypeptide of the present invention has significant functions of preventing, treating, and/or alleviating lung diseases such as asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

Abstract: A residue stream comprising liquid hydrocarbons and metal-rich solid particles is reacted with an oxidant stream in a gasifier to produce a syngas stream that is quenched in a water bath. The risk of plugging in the water lines is reduced by removing solids from the recycled water streams. Acid gases are stripped from at least a portion of the recycled water to reduce the risk of precipitates forming from the reaction of dissolved acid gases with metal ions.

The method includes receiving a product query request including at least one product query parameter for a target product to a product graph database that stores a relational map constructed based on a manufacturing process of the target product and describing entities including product entities and manufacturing entities and entity relations therebetween involved in the manufacturing process, querying the product graph database according to the product query parameter to obtain product history data of the target product by searching for a product entity corresponding to the target product as a target product entity in the relational map according to the parameter, searching for associated manufacturing entities of the target product entity according to the entity relations, obtaining the product history data based on the associated manufacturing entities, and sending a notification message to notify obtained product history data.

Abstract: A vehicle lighting control method includes that a roadside communications device sends a first message to a vehicle. The first message prompts the vehicle to illuminate a first target, and the first target is near a travel path that the vehicle is to pass through. Before passing the first target, the vehicle adjusts the vehicle into a first lighting mode in advance based on the first message to illuminate the first target.
