    Abstract: A plastic containing assembly is provided with a container including a containing member, a front reduced section formed with the containing member, and a shoulder between a front end of the containing member and the reduced section; and a hollow, externally threaded adaptor including an outer protrusion put on the reduced section, an inner projection inserted into both the front end of the containing member and the reduced section, a groove on an outer surface of the projection, a filler member between the groove and the protrusion, and an axial passage communicating with an open front end of the adaptor and the projection respectively. An ultrasonic welding machine may apply high-frequency ultrasonic acoustic vibrations to the filler member and melt same to join the shoulder, thereby forming a first joining layer; and melt a joining portion of the reduced section and the protrusion, thereby forming a second joining layer.

The plurality of channels may include a center channel, an inner-diameter channel, and/or an outer-diameter channel. The disclosed sliders may be particularly advantageous for lower-pressure operating environments, such as sealed-helium disk drives.

    Abstract: A vehicle window structure for preventing a person from being thrown out, applied to a vehicle, includes a fixing frame. An inner frame surface of the fixing frame is provided with a plurality of fixing portions spaced apart from each other. An arresting net includes at least one plastic rope fixedly connected to the fixing portions in an interlaced manner. The fixing frame is provided with a light-permeable unit that is mounted and fixed within the inner frame surface and covers the arresting net. When the vehicle has an accidental rollover unfortunately, even if the light-permeable unit is damaged or the fixing frame is deformed during the overturning of the vehicle, the arresting net is still able to arrest the user effectively because the arresting net is directly fixed to the fixing frame, thereby preventing the user from being thrown out of the vehicle.

    Abstract: A powered ankle-foot prosthesis and associated methods of use are described herein. Such prostheses can employ an actuator and elastic components, the actuator being controlled to deliver net positive work to propel the wearing amputee forward and the elastic components being used to store and release negative energy to improve efficiency. Elastic components can be linear springs coupled with a cam and configured in parallel to the actuator. The cam profile can be designed to generate a desired spring torque versus angle curve rather than a spring stroke versus angle curve, thereby reproducing human ankle controlled dorsiflexion stiffness. Such configurations improve system energy efficiency and reduce both actuator torque and power requirements. Such prostheses can also operate in a passive mode, in which a nearly normal gait can be achieved even without powered assist.

The RF circuit is electrically connected to the baseband circuit and to one or more antennas. The transmission ports of each RFN are configured to transmit data to the other RFNs and to receive data provided by the other RFNs.     Abstract: The present disclosure provides a system and method of determining a risk score for triage. In particular, a system is provided for providing an assessment of risk of a cardiac event for a patient, for example an incoming patient to a hospital emergency department complaining of chest pain. In the disclosure, the system includes an input device for measuring physiological data based vital signs parameter of the patient, a twelve-lead electrocardiogram (ECG) device for establishing an ECG obtained from results of the electrocardiography procedure, and determining an ECG parameter and a heart rate variability (HRV) parameter therefrom. An ensemble-based scoring system is further provided, establishing weighted classifier based on past patient data and where the vital signs parameter, the ECG parameter and the HRV parameter are compared to corresponding weighted classifiers to determine a risk score. A corresponding method to determine a risk score for triage is also provided.
