Abstract: The present invention is a vaginal device platform comprising an insertable therapeutic delivery device for delivering one or more therapeutic agents, comprising any of pharmaceutical, medicinal, or holistic components, directly to the mucosa of the vaginal canal and a means of recovering the device. The delivery device platform may be used to dispense one or more therapeutic agents. In one embodiment, a static insert device is used, in another embodiment the insert device is used in an applicator to deliver a dosage amount from the applicator along with the insertion of the insert device.

The read data is compared with reference data stored in one or more data repositories. If a match exists between any of the read data and the reference data, an indication of non-compliance of the waste item with predetermined safety criteria is provided.
